MAB PA-15. From World GunsModel: MAB PA-15
Until recently, this little nine millimeter was a sidearm of the French Armed Forces. Before moving on to the PAMAS copy of the Beretta 92, the French used a home-produced handgun produced by Manufacture d'armes de Bayonne. The first version of the PA-15, the MAB Model R, was produced in 1966 and short lived, with the PA-15 appearing in the 1970s. While the French military did not accept the PA-15 as standard, it was bought in quantities by the Army, Air Force, and Gendarmerie (essentially a paramilitary police force). It was also adopted by the Finnish military and some police forces. MAB closed in 1982 and the Lechkine Armory is currently the sole producer of the weapon and spare parts.

The PA-15 is a rather standard semi-automatic handgun with a Savage-type rotating, non-reciprocating barrel. The gun features a magazine safety, preventing the weapon from firing if a magazine is not inserted.

Complexity

The PA-15 was designed as a military weapon, so it's fairly robust and reliable. Aside from having a magazine safety, it's a very standard semi-automatic handgun.
