The main house will be equipped and stocked with all supplies, rations and equipment to survive and endure a Class 4 outbreak.
The ground floor will have living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, larder, library, gym, server room, garage, pool, greenhouse, barn.
The top floor will have 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the armoury.

On the roof are solar panels, and two flagpoles for communication. See
here for the details.

The
living room will have a 60" inch flat-screen hooked into a multimedia centre. pre-Z day, I will be living here. On Z Day, I will be able to split-screen various newscasts and websites to get a good picture of the outbreak.
The
dining room will be able to seat 38 people. Good for large family visits, but also for Z Day meetings and discussions.
The downstairs
bathrooms will have a shower, toilet and sink. One near the front entrance to The Castle, one to the back.
The
kitchen will be equipped to cook for up to 26 people at once. The back door will be here, heavily secured. Multiple powder, CO2 and foam extinguishers in each corner, along with several fire blankets over the cookers.
The
larder will hold enough dry and canned goods for 25 people for 18 months. The floor is sunk by 5' to keep the temperature lower. Access to the wells, pumps and reservoirs will be through here. The walls and ceiling are 2' thick here, not 1'. This makes the larder the shelter in case of nuclear fallout.
The
library will be stocked with every reference book on every subject needed, including agriculture, medicine, construction, physics, biology, psychology, mechanics, engineering, history. There will also be a large fiction section to help pass the time. Also, a mini-bar that is disguised as a globe, just because I want one.
The
gym will have basic supplies, weights, bike, running and rowing machines, plus a TV to provide distraction.
The
server room will be used as a DR site for my company (enabling me to write off part of the cost of construction as a business expense), plus a storage for any information that can be gathered from the Internet before it goes offline. It will be protected by an FM200 gas extinguishing system.
The
garage will have space for three cars, and a full maintenance bay. It will also store a lot of the (non-farming) tools and equipment. Multiple powder, CO2 and foam extinguishers in each corner.
The
pool will be useful to store water should the wells catastrophically fail for any reason. will also contain a compressor and tri-mix station for dive tanks.
The
greenhouse will be used as a plant nursery, and to grow food that wouldn't normally thrive in local conditions. There will be a propane generator situated here. The CO2 byproduct will enhance plant growth. The outside door will be heavily secured, as will the internal door to the rest of the house. Powder extinguishers will be by the generator and propane tanks.
The
barn is separate from the main house. It will hold the propane tanks, gasoline tanks, and gasoline generator. It will also be a wood store and (farming) tool store. It will be protected by an FM200 gas extinguishing system, plus a powder dispersal system.

The
bedrooms on the top floor will have a surrounding balcony which can double as a tower if the whole base is swarmed. There will be 2 king-size rooms, 2 double rooms, 2 single. En suite bathrooms in the king-size and double.
The 2
bathrooms on the top floor will have shower, bath, sink and toilet.
The
armoury will hold all the weaponry and equipment for Z Day. It will be accessible from two points. The hallway of the top floor, and one of the king-size bedrooms. This will include the radio transmitter, emergency flares, earplugs, fire extinguishers, advanced medical kits,
earplugs, etc
The stairs will have security gates added. Other than that, there are no special features, I just added these photos because stairs are ******* fiddly to draw, and it took me bloody ages. I think the angles came out nicely though.

And the view from the bottom.

And also the view from the back of the Castle.

Finally, one last minute addition has been to have the barn with a flat roof. Eostre asked that if I build my base, and hers is not complete, could she come and stay at mine? I said yes, and THEN she requested a flat barn roof so she could grow stuff on it. Despite the greenhouse. And the large surrounding green-space. And the other forty acres.

So there you go. Probably the first barn design to accommodate soil on the roof to a depth of 6". Drainage holes to avoid water-logging the plants. And underneath are cross-braced RSJ girders on concrete pillars to support the weight. On the upside, it will now withstand a level 7 earthquake on the European Macroseismic Scale.
