Don't let that ruin a good fire fight. You need to add a MP3 player to your Zombie Survival Kit for just this situation. What's on your zombie killing playlist?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maricely--
Yeah, GereHakon is right. Who knows how long you're going to be fending for your life, why would you want migraine-causing music? I would want to listen to What A Wonderful World.
Unlucky Princess:
Creature Feature - Aim for the Head

-Battle Without Honor or Humanity
-Spybreak!
-Navras
-Neodammerung
-The Dead of Night
-A Pain that I'm Used To
yeah - good stuff
Captain_Bloodloss: I can't imagine any music more fitting to bash zombie skulls in to than some Psychobilly. I'd be listening to as much of
The Cramps as I could possibly find in the closest HMV. Nekromantix would work in a pinch, too.
apex6245: Well I guess I'll go ahead and say it, I am from Texas, and I love country and classic rock, and that's about it, haha.
So while it doesn't keep with the whole, death metal trend we got goin, I'd have to say, for one sitting, my songs
would be...
Hank Williams Jr.- Country Boy Can Survive
George Strait- Heartland
Kevin Fowler- Loose, Loud, and Crazy
Roger Creager- Love (Aint What This Songs About)
Lynyrd Skynyrd- Sweet Home Alabama
Toby Keith- Courtesy of the Red, White, And Blue
ACDC- Highway to Hell
Reverand Horton Heat- Psycobilly Freakout
Hank Williams III- Crazed Country Rebel
Reckless Kelly- 7 Nights in Ireland
Reckless Kelly- Lovin You's the Dumbest Fuckin Thing I've Ever Done
Flogging Molly- Whats Left of the Flag(thats my irish roots for ya)
Steve Earle- Guitar Town
Oh, and whomever put, "Guitar Hero III- The Devil Went Down to Georgia" Thats the Charlie Daniels Band, crazy yanks...
Halomanjohnsen: Slipknot- All of it, every single song. Including Vermillion Pt. 2 and Circle. Duality and I Am Hated would be VERY good ones.
cipher234(this is just a comment): I thought of it as if I were in a movie. if I were in a movie I would want a sound track thats cool not like mozart.
GereHakon
I think everyone has the wrong idea, you don't want some adrenalin pumping punk or metal,
that will just wear you out in the end. It also narrows your focus with agression and while
you are killing the zombies infront of you, you don't notice the one coming from behind.
In my opinion the best zombie fighting music would be something with a calming clarity,
giving you focus and making the battle a dance of death.
I choose The Nutcracker Sweet
Langilear
-Rob Zombie- Scum of the earth
-Drowning Pool- Let the bodies hit the floor
-Devil Driver- Ripped Apart
-Devil Driver- Before the hangman's noose
-Behemoth- Hekau 718
-The Haunted- Any song
-Lamb of god- Remorse is for the dead
-Devil Driver- Not all who wander are lost
-Devil Driver- Burning Sermon
-Devil Driver- Bear witness unto

LeeVanCleef:
GunnerGraye: I guess this is sort of a good subject... when killing zombies, what would be your choice of music to listen to that would get you energized to start hacking up some of the undead? Personally, I think listening to some hard rock or heavy metal would be a great idea because it's fast and has a destructive sort of feeling..for me anyways. Well the best bands I'd pick would probably be; Iron Maiden, Johnny Cash, Nirvana, Rammstien, Bad Religeon, The Ramones, The Doors,
The Clash, Valient Thorr, AC/DC, Dragonforce, The White Stripes, Death From Above 1979, The Misfits, The Arctic Monkeys, Flogging Molly,
Franz Ferdinand, The Klaxons, Dropkick Murphys, House Of Pain, Led Zepplin, The Hives, Black Sabbath, Queen, Nine Inch Nails, Powerman 5000,
and Rage Against The Machine. Those are only some but i don't wanna waste a lot of space so those are the most deffinate ones I'd think of, hope it helps!
Zombieshredder: id put on some slipknot or disturbed. something to get you pumped to kill some zombies!
TonyPro: Yeah, metal would get your adrenaline pumping; I'd spin some Rammstein or Nightwish. But after a couple hours of nunchauk-swingin' action, I'd want something a little more uplifting, like Stellastarr. And there's always good old Euro-trance so I could ust my funk while pwning.

My Zombie Fighting Playlist
Quietusm
Celldweller Birthright
Megadeth symphony of destruction
Just about any Industrial, just to keep the blood flowing and adrenaline high.
Green-Arrow
I'd have to go with "Futile Escape" from the Aliens soundtrack (from the final alien assault on the surviving marines).
Especially about 3 mins into the track, when the drums and horns kick in. Not exactly a zombie track, but definitely
keeps the adrenaline flowing and keeps you moving forward in the face of ridiculous odds. (And hoping it's not game
over, man, game over.) Stay frosty.
"Let's go Marines! We are leeeeav-ing!"
ShotgunMan:
Any loud rock, industrial or techno song for the full-out assaults (ie. Slipknot, Slayer, etc.) to get the adrenaline going. And for smaller groups or wandering, any ambient song (I don't really know of one for this, but I'll probably find one; I have a huge library of all kinds of songs. Hell, I've even got video game music, so I'll probably find the right song for any situation.)
Residentmagnum

I'd never listen to music its a death trap. Those with weaker minds will remember the past and all they've lost and probably kill
themselves. Also if your listenign through headphones you wont hear the zombie behind you while if you listen though
speakers you'll attract more z's.

Any Metal songs or Hard Rock songs would do it for me, Du hast would be pretty sweet, Dragula, Mien Hertz Brennt would be pimpin, especially if it was all quiet, then all the sudden when the chorus comes in then zombies come, perfection, but yeah zombie songs gotta be metal or hard rock.

For those who listen to many forms of music may have relized that music is great for mood situations
For kicking ass and taking names fighting songs are great For getting to sleep in a very safe place maybe an easy listening or other softer music |
