Pick Your Wingmen And Why Did You Pick Them?

O.K., Todays the day to hit the ground running. You can pick three team members from the group available. Your mission is to get across the city to contact a group of survivors that appear to need help. Before their radio died, it seems that their group needs a mechanic to get their truck repaired. You have to walk to reach them because your group has run out of gasoline for the vehicles you have.

The deal is to repair their truck and they'll repay you with 1/3 of the trucks contents. The truck contains, their tools, spare parts for the truck, ammo, food, fuel and medicines.

Who would you pick and why? Members going on the mission can share equipment among themselves.
Paul Kottis (16 yrs. old)
Paul is the brute in my gang.He could make a nose bleed in a single punch but he is a humble and helpful. He is a good gunner,he knows how to fix a wound and make weapons like bows, spears and clubs.
He's packing the following gear:
1.M4A1 Carbine,.357 Magnum
2.Tool Box
3.First Aid Kit

John Doe (25 yrs old)
He's your above average office worker, in fact he was the boss of the east coast operations. He's not in the greatest shape, but he's one smart cookie with a computers and radio equipment. In high school he was a member of the shooting team.
He's packing the following gear:
1. 12 gauge shotgun and 40 rounds of 'oo" buck
2. Ball peen hammer
3. Small first aid kit

Joe Six-pack (30 yrs old)
He's very a over weight 280lb slob, who smokes like a chimney, he gets out of breath just putting on his shoes. However, this guy could repair just about anything with a paper clip and a wad of chewing gum.
He's packing the following gear:
1. Leatherman Wave
2. Selective fire 5.56mm rifle and 200 rounds
3. Toolbox.

Mary Hart (24 yrs old)
She's a mean little cuss, 100 lbs of fire. A black belt in Judo and a crack shot with a pistol, but she has no clue how to fix anything.
She has the following equipment:
1. 9mm pistol and 100 rounds of ammo.
2. Katana blade
3. Game cart that can carry 300lbs. Mary knows this because she's moved that much with the cart before.

Billy Joe Jim Bob (35 yrs old)
If this guy's neck was any redder it would glow, but this guy is a virtual mule. He's dim witted and slow, but he can can carry ungodly amounts of weight. In high school he dead lifted over 1,000lbs.
He has the following equipment:
1. Sledgehammer (20lb)
2. 10 gauge shotgun and 100 rounds of #4 shot
3. Pocket knife

Kim Possible (57 yrs old)
Kim is trained as a medical doctor, she also knows a little about mechanical devices, but she suffers from severe asthma. She has a couple dose's left of her medicine but theres more waiting on truck that needs to be fixed.
She has the following equipment:
1. Medical bag
2. Walking staff
3. .22 cal derringer and 25 rounds of ammo.

Jacques Strap (29 yrs old)
Jacques is very athletic and once ran on the Olympic cross country team. His only flaw is that he isn't a very good team player, he likes to be in charge, but he makes bad decisions too often.
He has the following equipment:
1. 10" bowie knife
2. Wood baseball bat
3. 2-High explosive fragmentation grenades

Matt Hatter (31 yrs old)
This man is a pretty decent, if not great, shade tree mechanic. He's in very good physical condition and he's been in several marathons throughout his life. His problem is that he's bipolar, even though he has a good supply of medicine on hand, he doesn't always take it. When he's off his med's, he's very unpredictable.
His equipment is as follows:
1. M1 carbine and 80 rounds of ammo
2. 9mm pistol and 50 rounds of ammo
3. Coil of 550 paracord (200 feet)

Jimmy Johnson (19 yrs old)
This young man is in fantastic shape and never seems to get tired. The kids a super computer freak and loves to tinker with machines. His problem is that he's impulsive and he doesn't always control himself well, but a strong leader seems to keep him in line. An example of his impulsive streak, is when he decided to lay down his rifle and attack a few zeds with a machete, putting himself at great personal risk.
He has the following equipment:
1. Ruger 10/22 rifle and 300 rounds of ammo.
2. Cold steel machete
3. Motor-cross body armor.

Ivan Badanoff (21 yrs old)
This fun little russian can pack a punch for his size. Intellegent, but can be classified as a little insane. Some say that he's always laughing to block out those dark demons deep inside. Once he's pissed off it's hard to calm him down. Also a beast with any gun you put in his hand. He has radical political ideal's, he's an activist. Which might explain the gun skills. With the right man in charge Ivan could be a great addition to any team.
He's packin the following:
1. Kalashnikov with 360 rounds of ammo
2. An assortment of knives
3. A Tokarev TT with 50 rounds of ammo

Have fun, add some if you'd like. It would be interesting to see who picks what and their reason behind it.

Thechaplain- I would take the russian for protection, Mary hart for hand-to-hand and to carry the fat guy who id use to fix the truck.

Quickrace89: I would take:

  1. Joe Six-pack, because he can fix the truck quickly.
  2. Jimmy Johnson, because he can take out Zombies very easily. I'd make him keep his armor on though, so if he decides to go melee he'll stay alive.
  3. Ivan Badanoff, because he's a good all-rounder to finish off the team. He's a good aim, has a Kalashnikov, and can carry Joe's toolbox.

We might carry water and rations with us in backpacks, and wear/hold our weapons. The other two can share all the ammunition between themselves. However, we won't take all our ammo, just enough for 5 clips each. We might be able to hitch a ride on the truck back to my base.

Marsden - I would take 1) Joe Six-pack
For his repair skills, we can afford to move slower for him.
2) Ivan Badanoff
For the additional Firepower to make up for the slow travel.
3) Mary Hart
For the game cart, to carry the 1/3 supplies back from the truck.

Spraymachine-
Joe Six-pack,Mary Hart,Ivan Badanoff. Here is the plan: Joe's gun and ammoare being carried by the russian and Joe's tools are being pushed on the cart, reducing the weight he has to carry. If a fast escape is needed, Joe is being put on the cart! When they get there, Joe fixes the truck while Mary and Ivan are on guard duty. After it is over they load up the cart with supplies and go home. It seems like this is the best combonation for people.

BanditJack: I would take Joe Six-Pack, Billy Joe Jim Bob, and Ivan Badanoff with me. Billy Joe Jim Bob can help move Joe Six-Pack's fat ass, while myself and Ivan pull security. Once we've gotten the truck fixed with Six-Pack's exceptional mechanical skills, Billy Joe can carry some of the crap we can get off of them (me and Ivan will be weighted down a little as well, but modularly for fast release in a situation) and Ivan can help me "facilitate the agreement" if they seem like they're gonna stiff us. On the way back, Six-Pack will be our only hinderance, but quite a hinderance he will be! We'd all take turns pushing him to try and make him move faster. (Or better yet, we have Six-Pack fix up an abandoned vehicle and we drive that back to base)

Trancecore:
Ivan- I'm a fan of "crazy Russian" type characters. Combat and carry.
Mary- Judo, katana, and pistol skills. She'd also be pushing the cart with me [2 are faster than 1].
Six-pack- Put him in the cart, me and Mary push under Ivan's cover. We get there, big guy fixes the truck, we grab our reward, and with an initial push from Mary, I beast the cart back to base with rope from the front while the other two cover and carry.

IFB254:
Ivan Badanoff- The man is a walking machinegun nest. Just keep him on a short leash and have the other two keep an eye on him as well, at least until you make it to the other survivors.
Matt Hatter- Using the tools already in the truck, he can get it running long enough to get it back to your base, where Joe can make a more in-depth repair
John Doe- Its always best to have a jack of all trades with your group as well. He could handle Matt while I handle Ivan.

Roxas33- I can take care of any simple injuries and this is my team below

John Doe- need someone to be my radio operator

Joe Six-pack- no other reason then the fact that he can repair the truck
Mary Hart-need somone who can take care of close combat

Thrawn5:
Matt Hatter, Ivan Badanoff, and Mary Hart.
I would take Matt because he can do OK with vehicles, Ivan because he can do well with the defence of the team, and
Mary because of her cart, we need SOME way of getting the stuff back to base (chances are that the survivors wont want to let us take a truck). Plus, I am OK with a gun and can do my share of transporting (I am not to good with the mechanics though...).
