Could I get a couple must have's in terms of like best antibiotics to treat infection? Or the best painkillers you can take use and still keep mobile? Any others from experiance it would be a good idea to keep about?

I know I'll prolly get laughed at here for such an absurd idea but...
In the movies/Myth/Army legend everyones seen or heard of a bad wound being cauterized with some extreme method or another. Soo what I'd like to know is if a semi severe laceration that just wont stop bleeding could be treated by emptying a rifle cartridge and pouring the powder in the wound and lighting it to cauterize the wound.

While writing my survivalplan I asked myself, what would be the best possible method to cure diseases, that nead a surgery? So how are you going to deal with broken bones, an infected suppendix or stuff like that?

Alright, one thing I should point out. Now, a cut, scrape, or other minor wound is pretty easy to take care of with common sense, but I would at least like to stress something..... If you don't know what you're doing..... STOP! Alright? If a guy get's shot by a human, he's bleeding from his chest, don't try to open his chest and take it out. I don't mean you shouldn't provide short term care. I'm just saying that you shouldn't try to play a game of OPERATION with your best friend as the patient..... Now, let's put down the forceps and stop trying to take out "Tennis Elbow". I know this all seems like common sense, but for some reason, I could see someone trying this in an emergency.... Just a little public service announcement by the good doc.

Also, medical advice and treatments. As always double check information from the net. Some might want to look at this page, it covers eating well cheap. I have noticed that some have limited incomes. http://www.doctoryourself.com/eatwellcheap.html

First Aid Kit's are exactly as they are titled. They are the immediate aid implements of saving someones life. If you don't have a follow through with the injury such as further treatment then really all a First Aid Kit will do is buy time. I mean assuming someone was hacking up zombies with a chainsaw and missed (Such as dawn of the dead) then a first aid kit can help with the loss of a limb but they will die soon and require further medical attention.

Great thinking, kudos to you, ~Jack~
This page has some real potential... I'm tempted to go find my first aid manual and paraphrase anything I can find about bite wounds. I also added a disclaimer... just in case.
