City: Pyramid Lake,NV
Neighborhood: Pyramid Lake is 33 miles northeast of Sparks via Nevada Route 445 (Pyramid Way); 16 miles north of I-80 at Wadsworth via Nevada Route 447.
Building or Defensible Location:This lake is part of an Indian reservation and has many caves near it and of course some houses and a marina.

Attributes: Lake is fed by the Truckee River. Dry desert surrounds the lake with rocky hills and mountains.

Pros:
-On site fish hatchery
-Fresh water from river
-Open terrain to see approaching zombies
-Zombies can't swim...or can they?
-Walmart, Lowes(hardware), gun store and grocery store 15 minutes away by car.
-There are several small defensible islands out on the lake which could be retreated to.


Cons:
-The community living by lake could be infected by the zombie virus
-You need a day use and camping permit to be on the lake. If the bar and marina are closed due to zombie outbreak...it would be hard to get a permit. -The lake smells

In the case of an outbreak, will you be allowing other survivors to join you here?
