Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Every where. I plan on sitting tight, at least for a week or so. Let things die down, then my wife and I will make our way to our Bug Out Location that has stores already in place (water, food, sanitation, ammo, and first aid). Our BOL is a friends house, we have planned this for some time. It is well away from population centers here in Iowa.

If you're heading out, how do you plan to get there? Dodge 350 15 passenger van

Got anyone you want to take with you? My wife

How will you communicate with the outside world, or do you plan to go the hermit route? CB for now, working on HAM Tech License

How are you planning to get food and water? I have started to amass survival needs already. Doesn't every one? It's really a bad idea to wait until TSHTF to go on a looting spree, simply because other people will have the same idea. Get the stuff you need beforehand, that way once TSHTF you have your bases covered.
What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? 12 gauge Mossberg with 200 shells as of right now, and a baseball bat for now.

Got a survival philosophy? Be prepared for the worst, have a sound plan ahead of time, and know your limitations.
Are you willing to hook up with other survivors? That is part of my plan, we have a bug out location with close friends now.

Is your plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist we may have heard of? No, common sense.
