What is a Rage Zombie
First off Rage Zombies are not really Zombies at all, They are infected humans, and they are killed the same way a Human is. They are also tethered to life by the same things we humans are. They can't breath underwater or survive without drinking it. They don't require a headshothead-shot to kill either. You really just have to shoot them in a place that a regular person would die. They also show signs of the ability to think clearly and make informed decisions. They usually attack and roam in groups. They are also very quick and agile compared to their cousin, the Classic Zombie. Instead of ingesting Brains or Flesh to survive their single goal is to attack other uninfected humans & in the process turn them into a Rage Zombie.

The easy way out
With most classic zombie outbreaks it involves years of defending yourself and looking over your back. However with Rage Zombies the outbreak will be over in just a few months. They may be able to think but they are not smart enough to eat and they can't really go into a kitchen and fix a ham sandwich. It is believed that their impulse to attack and infect overpowers the urge for hunger. So the "Easy Way Out" would be to just sit tight and wait a few months for them to all die out.

Infection
Infection is not only spread by humans. But we are not sure whether the virus has the same effect on the carrier as it does on humans. Mostly just dogs and rats and other rodents. It is undetermined whether insects can carry the disease. It is spread by any bodily fluids such as blood spit and stomach contents. It is commonly believed that once a Rage Zombie has you pinned it will have a reflex where it will puke blood onto your face (Rather Disgusting) We are not sure if it is transmitted by air. Also it is possible that the infection virus is spread by water. So far it has only been confirmed that it infects primates (humans included)

Psychology
Rage Zombies are very scary but they don't moan, but do sometimes snarl. In some cases this is a bad thing because you don't know if one is coming to kill you in which case you could prepare yourself. They also don't prefer heights. However they do prefer to go underground suggesting that they prefer darkness. They may use human tools only to kill. It is believed that memories are carried over from Human to Infected however they play little roll in protection or defense. Your best Friends will want to kill.

Cure
There may be a cure soon but it will only work for Post-Infection. There are a few select humans that have immunity to the virus but they can carry the virus in their blood and spit. They will not exhibit the want to kill or attack and if they do it will happen only for a short few seconds. These humans should either be avoided or added to your squad. You can't exchange bodily fluids with someone that is infected but immune. Otherwise you will be a rage zombie as well.

Defense
When plotting a defense from the Rage Zombies avoid a large compound. They are almost undetectable and it will be hard to detect one if it breaches your walls. It is believed they can't swim in which case an island or offshore platform such as an aircraft carrier or oil rig would be acceptable. Also in your fort try to make it surrounded by a green grass large field with flood lights. This aids in defense as when you see a Rage Zombie you will have a minute or so before they get to you so you want as much space between you and them when you detect them.

Offense
Chemical weapons still work on Rage Zombies however only the kind that shuts down the organs. Tear Gas and other irritants do nothing. However a smoke grenade may aid you. Explosives are also a good idea because it only takes a limb or too before the Rage Zombie dies from Blood Loss. Makes for quite a mess and you will have to be extremely careful during clean up. If you have a large caliber weapon and can't seem to get a headshothead-shot on a running zombie, aim for the hip as when hit, it will shatter and not be able to support the weight of the zombie, giving you time for a follow up headshot.head-shot.

Organization
It may become possible that the virus that created the rage zombies may mutate in different ways in different people this is expected when dealing with any virus. These "mutated" rage zombies may be more intelligant,intelligent, bigger, stronger, faster, or even harder to kill. These are "Alpha zombies" The alpha zombie is the biggest, smartest, fastest zombie in a pack. It is possible that the other zombies may follow his lead it is also possible that these zombies may be smart enough to stratigizestrategize and plan attacks. If any zombie appears to lead a group or is different from the rest kill it immediately as it will be the most dangerous.
