Under Construction- RandomKnife666.
Just so you know, my old plan was a bit immature, and truly unattainable, I will post up my current plan as I get the time to do so.
Section 1- My surroundings.
Subsection 1- General Location- Currently I live about 4 hours (driving, at 100 KM Per Hour) away from the city of Winnipeg, Canada, in a small town in northwestern Ontario (Population, including the surrounding area of 1000 people, the town itself has about half of those.) I won't disclose my exact location due to a certain paranoia I have about the Internet and locations.
Subsection 2- What the terrain is like- The area I live in is almost entirely forested, with the exception of the hundreds of lakes and rivers (I live in Ontario, we have a ******** of lakes). The area is also fairly err... hilly, don't know a better word for that.
Subsection 3- Natural resources- There are literally hundreds of natural resources around my area and hundreds of edible vegetation that grow around, and since there is almost no end to trees, a ton of building material is available. There is a lot of fresh water in the area, and every lake and river contains thousands of fish (of various species).
Subsection 4- Climate- Throughout the summer, the area can be rather humid, and is often quite warm. During Autumn, the weather can often become colder, hitting anywhere between 0 and -10 at night, and usually remaining above zero during the day, it is often dryer at this time of year. During the winter, well, plain and simple, it is freezing, we often get a lot of snow during the winter, despite this, there is still a lot of activity during the winter. During Spring, well, it rains, a lot, the temperature can be chilly during the early parts of spring, but once it gets closer to summer it gets warmer.
Section 2- weapons and gear-
Subsection 1- Rifles
Cooey model 710 (It may be known as a model 70 in the USA)- It has a 4 shot internal magazine (non removable) and is bolt action. It is chambered in 308 Winchester. It has a scope (I will look at the magnification later), and non-adjustable iron sights (The scope can flip over, so that you can use the irons).
(NEW)- Remington 742 woodsmaster- 30-06, has a scope, and I currently only possess one 5 shot magazine.
Winchester 1300- 12 gauge, the shotgun I was raised shooting. For a discontinued line of shotguns, I find an awful lot of parts andaccessoriesout there, may buy a magazine extension, but other than that, it has a screw in choke, and is quite fun to shoot.
Winchester model 1894- 30-30, has only had about 30 shots fired out of it, was used as a trapping gun. One of my favorite rifles.
Lee-enfield SMLE sporterised- .303British, my favorite rifle. One day I want to return it to its original configuration. Currently, it has a scope.
Tika T3- Chambered in 300 WSM, it has 2 3 shot magazines, and is a damn loud gun to shoot.
Still have more firearms that I could add, but those will come later.
Section 3- Members of my group
Subsection 1- Family
Grandfather-
Pros- He has been a hunter/trapper/fisher for most of his life, aside from that, he has built almost every house he has ever lived in (most of our towns houses were built by him), and he is also a licensed mechanic. Also, despite his age, he is highly active, and you would think he was in his 40's not his 70's. He has also delved into gardening, and has though of doing a large scale garden (mostly potatoes, since they are easiest to grow).
Cons- He is 71, although our family has a history of living well into their 80's we have no idea who may be an exception to that trend. Also, around 20 years ago he got in an accident at work, which has limited the mobility of his right arm, this does not affect him when he is using any of his firearms, as he has became familiar with them to the point where his arm does not interfere.
Mother-
Pros- She is also an avid hunter/fisher although she never delved into trapping. She is a registered nurse. Because she has worked in the Psych ward she has a few defensive tricks (I have personally seen her knock someone unconscious with one hand, while simultaneously causing them to soil their pants).
Cons- She has a faulty kidney, and requires a lot of medication to keep her system normal, at the moment, she also has cancer, although it is in remission, so she is safe for now. I intend to have her write down as much medical experience as she can while she still has her medications, just in case.
Stepfather-
Pros- He is a machinist, which means he makes parts for things. He is also an avid hunter/fisher, and although he has his problems, he is much more of a father figure to me than my real father.
Cons- He is borderline alcoholic, he never drinks during the weeks, but during the weekends he is rarely caught sober once the clock hits 5.
Subsection 2- Close friends (I will use names here, because friend 1,2,3 would get a little confusing)
Aaron-
Pros- One of the best people I have seen with close range weapons, and amazingly, he has never taken a course on melee fighting. Me and him relate on a lot of different things, and are best friends.
Cons- He is a very negative person, he already believes life has no purpose, a notion which I try to convince him is not correct quite often. He absolutely does not enjoy guns, he tolerates my habits of talking about them.
Brandon-
Pros- He is a damned ninja (not literally, but damned close), there is almost nothing he can't climb, he is extremely fast, small and can run for a long time.
Cons- He has never used a firearm, however he is a little more eager to learn than Aaron, in-fact, he has said that he would enjoy coming out and shooting with me at least once.
