Raven Arms MP-25Model: Raven Arms MP-25
The MP-25 is the quintessential "Saturday Night Special", a cheap, small handgun of low caliber meant to provide self-defense on a budget. George Jennings was inspired to enter the firearms business due to the 1968 Gun Control Act banning the importation of inexpensive handguns. Approximately 2 million of these handguns were sold until 1991, when a fire destroyed Jennings' shop and forced him to retire.

The MP-25 is controversial as a pocket pistol both due to conflicting reports on reliability and a reputation as a "criminal's gun", something a thug could buy for a day's wages. Despite this, it remains a popular example of .25 caliber pocket pistols in the United States.

Complexity

Reports are conflicting on the reliability of the MP-25. The cheaper guns have a reputation as a "one-shot wonder", jamming after the first shot. Others find it very reliable for such an inexpensive weapon, one of the best pocket pistols available.

I'm not even sure this would even serve as a decent paperweight. Put inside a sock and swung it might work as well as a rock, for a weapon, certainly no better. If you fish, it might work as a sinker for your hooks. Made of cheap cast pot metal, it probably wouldn't work as well as a lead sinker though. Other than that, I can't think of any other uses for the raven.
