In 99 out 100 skin job attacks, the simple fact is the M-2 is the absolutely worst choice of firearms you can make. It is a rare occasion that the M-2 simply is too big a gun to be of appropriate service to you; Consider that the gun is powerful enough that if you put a round down range, it will go though just about every single skin job from you, to ¼ of a mile away, not ‘killing’ so much as EXPLODING the skin jobs in the way. Sure, it’s fine if your intent is to kill them all, but the gun’s nethariuos accuracy issues (especially in free-gun mode), unless you are facing literally an entire city of skin jobs makes it impractical for gernal use. This is a weap best reserved for anti-vehicle work, and if you gotta point it at fellow Humans, then things have gone very wrong indeed.

As one will read from either of these links, the SA80 is far from "the most reliable weapon of it's type in the world"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SA-80 http://world.guns.ru/assault/as22-e.htm It was not designed by H&K, but Enfield. H&K simply did an upgrade on about half of the ones in circulation in 2002. It before that, it was infamous for being quite possibly the least reliable modern assault rifle in the world. Large amounts of misfires, parts breaking, the works. After the upgrade, there are still issues with reliability in hot weather, wet or dry. On top of that, it cannot be fired lefty, weighs more than 10 pounds, and you'll never even see one unless you're in the UK. Perhaps the only redeeming quality of this gun is its amazing accuracy, which I won't deny. Personally, I'd rather use an M4 than an SA80. Not in the sense that I'm a stupid hick who is convinced that American guns are the best. In the sense that I know how bad the M4 has been and still is, and I'd still prefer it over an SA80. I'm not saying this to bash anybody's country. I'm simply stating that the article on the SA80 on this page shouldn't contain false information.

My vote is the HK MP5SD. A 9mm submachine gun with a built-in silencer.
http://firearmdeals.com/Dons/MP5SD_11242008A.jpg Advantages: -30 round mag. -single, 3 round or full auto setting. -Compact. -Silencer avoids drawing attention to yourself. -9mm is one of the most common types of ammo, especially in law enforcement - easy to find after the zombie rising. -Commonality of parts with the MP5 family (commonly used in Law Enforcement) makes for easy repairs. Add a laser sight, and you have the ultimate zombie killer.

extension cord
This could only be used to tie up or strangle which is incapable of killing a zombie. books The only kind that could even faintly kill a zombie are hard cover paperback are completly useless unless your an uber-ninja. fine china They would break easily and the only thing that could kill it are the shard of glass Table fans The spinning blades wouldn't do jack and most are made of plastic and would be excessively difficult to bash their skull in. pillows I don't really have to say how useless this is as a zombie killing weapon. the only use could be to push it out of the way. gaming consoles good to knock the zombie on it's ass though would break soon after no longer useful as a weapon or for it's intended purpose. stuffed animals SEE THE PILLOW SECTION Pies can't shatter the skull or decapitate or only use could be to temporarily blind the zombie or fo comical applications and no you can't distract zombies with pie coffee mugs see the fine china plunger toilet bacteria would't harm it the only thing good is the wood handle. beer can unless you can light the alcohol upit's basically like using a pie. shoe who throws a shoe honestly useless unless you throw cement boots. money sory you can't bribe a zombie to stop it from attacking you. plastic bags even though their dumbasses zombiesdon't need air so suffocation is useless.

Zombies that are far enough away to need a sniper rifle may be avoidable, but if you're defending some place or providing cover
fire for fellow survivors, it would be useful to have. As has been mentioned a few times, other survivor groups may pose just as much, if not more threat than zombies. If you shoot either from a distance, the chances of you becoming injured are far less likely as well.

The Springfield M1A SOCOM II is purchasable by a civilian. In fact that's who it is for. The reason it "has a short 16-inch barrel" is becasue thats the smallest barrel allowed by law for civilians. just like to point out...

In a close range tactical fight, most rifles are crap. But if you're like me and are still in love with the good old american M16, check out the Bushmaster Carbon 15, or Kel Tek PLR-16. Both are M16 tactical pistols. No full auto for civies, but that just saves ammo. Regular easy to find .223 remington/5.56 NATO rounds. Light, small, cheap and dead accurate. (Kel Tek costs about half as much as Bushmaster...)

it would be extremly hard to find all of this military stuff. Just think about it how often do you see a m139 minigun? Especially if you like me live in a state or city or county like new york that puts a ban or handicap on gun ownership. Im simply saying probobly the most advanced stuff you can find is what is in your local police station.

An M1a Socom 2 is available to civilians and it is a battle rifle. Civilians have access to sniper rifles as well. The picture of the SCAR is actually a Magpul Masada, it needs to be changed. If I think of anything else Ill let you know.

first off, these arent all military restricted('sept the nuke). Class C firearms license will grant you any of these guys you want. EVEN WITHOUT IT, the mauser pistol, 9mm parabellum luger, and M1A SOCOM II arent restricted('Sept in California). You guys have some serious issues with naming things.

For those of you so cock-sure that the AK is “soooooooooo much better”:
16 (SIXTEEN!) US Marines held out in a house (not a bunker, or fort, or whatever, but a fraking mud hut!) against over 200 (TWO HUNDRED!) insurgents for something like 20 hours in Iraq. Final tally: Marines: 5 Purple Hearts, ZERO permanent routines (KIA). Insurgents: Over 100 KIA, plus the Marines found too many fucking blood trials to even try to sort them out. Tactical Arrangement: Marines: 14 armed with M-16’s and a couple with M-240’s (a weap I had trouble with, though it was ammo, not weap). Insurgents: AK-47’s and RPK’s (belt fed version of the 47). YOU do that math. As for those of you who go on and on (drone, really) about the penetration of the 7.62 vs the 5.56, ¿how many skin jobs do you figure have body armor? I figure, not bloody fucking many. The M-16 is INFINITELY easier to maintain (it’s one pin, bolt, and carrier which are small enough to easily hold in your hand in a tense situation so they don’t get lost, not a flighty pin that’s prone to break, and don’t tell me it can never happen because it did on my SKS, bolt and carrier, and spring, which are hard to hold onto and easy to loose in the middle of the same ‘tense situation’). That alone should make it worth something, but Hell, let’s move on… Now, ¿how exactly do you convert a 7.62MM AK-47 to a say 5.56MM AK-108? Or, right, you DON’T, because it’s a smaller round, and you can’t make the bore smaller, only larger, that’s right, I forgot… Ok, well, ¿how do you convert a 5.56MM AR-Series to a 7.62MM? ¿Maybe, pull two pins, drop the 7.62 upper in, and pop the pins back in? No, no, of COURSE it can’t be THAT simple, because, of course you have to re-bore it an all that… And converting it back again, therefore, must be just as hard, that is to say impossible, as the -47 to -108 conversion, because it’s a SMALLER chamber, ¿right?

I'm kinda lazy and would rather link info than type it all out :)
http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg57-e.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bxE6MZlxGQ (video more for visual aid use than knowledge, of course the company will make it look good) Little things I like about the Calico M960: 9mm ammo, easy to find 50-100 round mags Mags take up relatively less room than other smgs Easy and minimal disassembly looks really cool If I only had Zeds to worry about I'd probably go for the .22LR model, but with obvious human threats I'd rather have 9mm Now attack me for being stupid :) Seriously though, I would appreciate any input on these weapons, or if some of you out there find them to have merit.

I don't know why you are so down on the 42, the M-60 is a product improved 42, and some would say deproved. The MG-710 is the variant to have.
