Imprisoned for seven years in the Metro Manila Prison Facility,I finally broke out of jail when shit started to happen,I faced lots of dangers in a land filled with the living dead and insane motherfuckers.Here is my story and I lived to tell it....


Chapter 1:Prison is Hell

I was sleeping on my bunk bed in my cell,when suddenly the alarm started and all the gates were open. Everybody started rushing out of their cells,so I went out too,to check what's going on.I headed to the canteen and things went wrong,I saw dead bodies and guts everywhere. I saw one inmate trying to pull a dead warden's body.
I said "Hey,what the hell are you doing?"

He looked at me,I saw his face was in pretty rough shape,and the arm is gone.He growled at me and ran into me. I grabbed the cooking pan and smashed it on his skull and he fell down,I tried kicking his body and its not moving anymore. So I entered Detention Block C,probably everyone in that place is dead. I prepared the frying pan,the dead people started to rise. I started hitting them one by one in the head until one grabbed me by the throat and I fell down,I grabbed the head and twisted it. I stood back up and I plan on going to the Armory to grab some weapons,so I check the other guards' body for the key,I tried recalling the area of the Armory. It was at the lower levels. So I used the elevator going down,suddenly,it stopped,after 3 minutes,it started functioning again.

I said "My God,what's wrong with this fucking place?I better get the fuck outta here.."


I finally reached the lower levels and the place was clean. There were no zombies at the area. So I walked straight to the Armory,when suddenly somebody pulled me and said "Don't even think about it,corpse!".She pointed a Luger on my head and cocked it.I raised my hands and said "I'm not one of them." She still pointed the gun at me and said "You should be staying on your cell,Diego..". I tried convincing her not to shoot me but she has the gun on my head.I grabbed her arm where she was holding her pistol,I grabbed the Pistol and aimed it to her,she raised both of her hands in the air.I said "You want to get out of here alive?Then maybe you can do as I say and you won't be a corpse".She turned her back and said "Take this key,it opens the armory,you we're not very smart enough to open the door,since its locked..". I grabbed the key and opened the door,I saw the guns and said "Man,look at this old shit..".I saw M14s,Scoped Lee-Enfields,UZIs,Pump-Action Shotguns,.32 revolvers and .45 colts.I thought of picking one main gun,backup gun and a secondary gun. I chose the M14 as my main gun,the UZI as my backup weapon and a .45 colt as my secondary weapon. I attached a bayonet on the M14.I grabbed the equipment bearing harness and wore it. After I was done preparing,I left the armory and I saw a note sticked to the door.I read it and it said:


Diego,don't even think about doing anything stupid as you leave..
Going to the city is dangerous but I know you wan't these things
to be sorted out,please if you go into the city,try finding me sometime
and I might hook you up with some gear and food.Hunger and Thirst will be
your worst enemy.Oh by the way,these things can use weapons. So watch out.

I folded the letter and put it in my pouch. I went to the elevator and went up to the ground level. I reached the ground level and the elevator door opened.Everyone turned into one of those things,I tried sneaking past them,so that I won't alert the whole horde,it's about a thousand of them that are in the open field. I stood up and some of the zombies saw me,they all screamed and rushed towards me. I shot them with the M14 and more of them came.I ran into the door. I kicked the door,closed it and locked it. I barricaded the door with whatever I can find. I looked around me and I said to myself "This is the police barracks,I might find a way out of here." The zombies were pounding the door and I stepped back a bit.Then someone knocked me unconscious.





Chapter 2:Freedom...Not

I regained my consciousness after someone knocked me out. I was in a dark room and all of my guns and ammo are gone but my equipment harness was still with me. The lights suddenly opened and the room has scattered blood everywhere. I opened the door and got out of the room,I was looking around the place and it looked like a hospital. I grabbed the bloody lead pipe lying down on the floor.I was walking down the hallway and the atmosphere has changed,I saw doctors,nurses,people and patients.I took a peep on one room,there is a body bag,after a few seconds,it started moving in a frenzied way.Then people started screaming and running.I went downstairs and I saw the infected ones rushing at the building eating everyone.Then someone tried grabbing me,trying to put his mouth on my neck.I was thinking about the present,then I saw a zombie trying to do the same thing to me like the flashback.I shoved him away from me and he fell down,I smashed his head with the lead pipe and rushed down to the main hall.I opened the door and saw that I was not in prison anymore.I was in the ruins of the capital,I looked around me,everything is destroyed and I saw the infected roaming around the streets.I hid at a dark corner,then I saw a corpse of a zombie lying near me,I scooped a portion of the blood and smeared it all over my body. I tried walking through the zombies,they smelled me and they left me alone.I was very thirsty and hungry,I looked at the map for the nearest convenience store,the nearest one is in Katipunan Avenue which is a kilometer left,but I was very exhausted.I feel tempted to cannibalize the corpse but it was not my instinct to do so.So I continued moving on,as I was walking
