Aspirin(acetylsalicylic acid) is an antinflammatory analgesic drug, meaning that it is used to kill pain and inlammation. It is also used for its antiplatelet effects, meaning it helps to prevent clotting. Contraindications include bleeding ulcers, large bleeding wounds, or G6PD, a rare genetic disorder. In these cases a more reasonable medication would be Acetaminophen or Tylenol.Aspirin

Typical dosage is 300 mg no more than 3x a day.
