This is how to (in thoery) how to make a homemade flame thrower.
First you need a source of fire, Lighter, good matches, ect. Next the flamey stuff, Whiteout, go to a staples or office supplier and take all the Whiteout there (MAKE SURE IT SAYS: CAUTION: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE) Now you make it so you can shoot it out of a water gun or something like that. To fire you put the white out in the water gun ( REMEMBER TO MAKE IT NOT DRY ) put a flame up and when you squirt you should get some flaming liquid coming out

Guys i was just discussing with one of my friends about the collapse of civilization when we started wondering how we would be able to keep our vehicles running. Because we both knew that diesel and gasoline eventually run out or spoil so we needed to find an alternative. So we thought about a lot of different alternatives when i remembered about that one show ''the Colony'' and how they made that wood gas generator and used the stuff to power that car they had. So I was just wondering if we could use that to power our vehicles so we wouldn't have to be kicked back into the stone age and be forced to use horses and stuff. Just wanted some of your guys opinions on this and whether or not it could be a solution to the common problem of fuel loss in post apocalyptic settlements.

When in africa in order to keep ourselves safe from animals and to provide lighting we used candles, however an open candle flame will blow out quickly. if you lack metal lamp holders then the best way is to cut the top of a plastic drinks bottle and put the candle in it.

Since most people will probably not have electrcity to power lightbulbs i came up with a good alternitive.
What about lamps you know the old kind that used candles and were made from metal and glass? Post Z day light that dosent need electrcity would be useful a candle light lamp still provides at least a good amount of light. Also if you are conservitive they can last a very long time the only problem would be making the candles and the lamps themselves. Otherwise in the long run candle lamps would be good to have since most people will be less likely to have electricity so wat does everyone think?

I heard from the Guarda Forestal (forest service) that they were seeking new places to build water tanks for the fire fighting helicopters in the mountains where the village that is my BOL is located. I cleared and leveled a piece of ground near one of the springs just outside the village and offered it to the provincial fire service and they built a 30' by 30' by 30' reservoir. That was four years ago and the reservoir is nicely grown in with weeds and bugs so I'm ready. Contacting the nearest hatchery and ask for a couple each of the fish I want to try is next, The water I have is slow moving, very clean and very cold straight out of the ground and I planted Elder down the south side, it's grown quickly and provides some shade (and its a useful plant). I want to try Tench, Bream, Roach and Chub because I'm told they are all good eating and all happy in still water. I'm hoping there are enough bugs in the water to support them but I'm hazy on how much fish eat, but I can feed them grain if necessary. Has anyone any experience with fish?
