Watch
actually it is possible to make a water purifyer by recreate the trip water would take through the soil. by taking a 2 liter bottle and filling it with various layers and types or stone and soil, you make a water purifyer. i've seen one that had such fine sediment and stone that the person who made opened a can of pepsi and poured it in the top and water came out of the bottom. granted it had some sand in it but other than that it was perfectly clear. in case you think that soil purification is bs look it up inline or just drive through the mountains of west virginia. every mile or so they have PVC pipes sticking out of the mountain (this is because people would have to climb away from the road otherwise so it is for both safety and convienience) and people fill up jugs of water there. i met a man once who refused to drink any water unless it had been taken from the mountain. it comes out freezing cold and having a strong mineral taste but is free of parasites and bacteria.
