Obviously there is the original ideals of Zombies brought about through Voodoo Magic
And there is the more recent popular Viral infection as the source of Zombification But what other possible methods could you contract such an affliction? Paracites? This would open up the possibility of simple skin contact to complete a transfer... Radiation? Who could forget this even with its low probability? Spores or fungal? Nanobots? O.o Yeah as if they weren't enough to be scared of on theyre own, Could tiny self replication robots take control of human hosts? ((You would have though that the terminators would have figured this out by now O.o)) Drugs or Medical? TV or hypnosis? (may not make you into the walking dead but never the less) Aliens? *Twilight Zone theme plays in background* Any other you can think of you discussion on these is welcome~~~

what is your starting plan for getting away from the first swarm to getting to a safe house and everything inbetween.
I personally am going to run into my parents room with a large duffle bag, grab as many guns and bullets and knifes as possible call my friend fisher and tell him to get ready as i am fighting through to get my dog regan then load everything into my accura and drive over to get my friend then we will prolly set up base in a walmart or something after getting a few more comrades to help fight off the zombies. so! wats your plan?

What if the infection rate wasn't 100% what if it was only around 50% of bites or fluid transfers resulted in zombification?
How would this change your reaction to love ones being bitten? What about a stranger you picked up? What would be some good methods of restraining? And what would you do if you wanting to keep you party moble? Could you leave that person behind knowing its a 50/50 shot they are fine? I suggest investing in a hannibal mask.

Lets say you come across one of the first zombies. No one knows of the outbreak but there are witnesses watching this crazed man chase and attempt to bite people.
Do you kill him and face the fact that you may be brought in for murder and jailed when the outbreak occurs (pretty much guaranteeing your death), or do you walk away and let him bite whomever and letting who knows how many get infected.

As anyone who has played Resident Evil 4 knows, parasitized zombies are a possibility. There are parasites that alter the nature and behavior of their hosts to move on to the next stage of their life cycles.
Dicrocoelium: Once the larvae of this parasite migrates to the ant's esophagus, it alters the behavior of the ant. When the temperature drops in the evening, the infected any climbs to the top of a plant and clamps onto a leaf using its mandible. It stays there immobile until the next morning, placing the ant where it's most vulnerable to be eaten by a browsing herbivore such as sheep. One could conclude that the parasite is manipulating the host's behavior to its way into the body of its definitive host. Galactosomum: The larvae of this parasite makes its home inside the brain of a fish such as the yellowtail and the parrot bass. Once infected, the fish make their way up to the water's surface where they'll swim until eaten by seabirds. Once again, the peculiar behavior can only be explained by the parasite's desire to get into the bodies of the seabirds. Leucochloridium: This parasite's sporcysts develop in the snail's tentacles. The sporocysts are vivid in color and pulsate continually somewhat like a worm. Surprisingly the infected snail makes its way to the top of a plant where it is most visible to the eyes of birds, therefore more likely to be eaten. Once eaten by a bird, the parasite will complete its metamorphosis into an adult. Now if these creatures could affect lower life forms, think what a small swarm of them could do to a mammal after a few evolutions |

A while ago, they discovered a Skeleton at stonehenge, well-preserved, BUT (big but) it has a smashed in eye socket. (At time of writing) The experts knew that the body had been ill, but they didn't know what with. I believe this could of been a Zombie, though my class-mates have ridiculed me for this...
