Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? The zombie plague will probably hit major cities, which probably means they will come from the south-east, from Detroit or Grand Rapids. I'll run when the zombies come.
Will you be staying in your home or headed somewhere else?
I will be heading to Anchorage, Alaska where I will be holding up in the Alaska Railroad Depot. It is a large, solid building with easy sniper points. You may look it up and comment about its safety.
If you're heading out, how do you plan to get there?
Various means of transportation. I would prefer large vehicles like VW buses and public buses to carry more supplies and people.
Got anyone you want to take with you?
Every survivor that I can find. Every person counts. If they go psycho and start to shoot, they're dead.
How will you communicate with the outside world, or do you plan to go the hermit route?
CB Radio, cell phone (if still in service).
How are you planning to get food and water?
Raiding stores, boiling water we find in streams and lakes.
What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
Machete mainly. I might use a shotgun or pistol. I will raid the local Gander Mountain and Military surplus store for ammo

Got a survival philosophy?
Yeah. Get to Alaska in one piece and not dead.
Are you willing to hook up with other survivors?
Yes if that means pick people up.

No if it means have intercourse.
Is your plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist we may have heard of?
Zombie Survival Guide (loosely), I guess Resident Evil: Extinction had Alaska as a safe place. But other then that I came up with it on my own.

Full Plan
As I said the zombies will probably come from Detroit or some major city. Before then I will stock up on supplies before it's all gone. Then I'll start to horde gasoline and start packing some of my friends VW Buses (plus side of having a friend who works at VW Bus Guru). Then I'll bring all survivors to a large camp site (Camp Greilick) with a large sturdy shelter called Besser Lodge. This camp also has a communications room called the Radio Shack, a nice place to make weapons called the Fine Arts shelter (I didn't choose the name), another sturdy shelter calledGordonFerrel and six to seven concrete shelters called theAdirondacks.2-3 people will operate the Radio Shack. They will scan the radio waves and the internet (if still connected) for any news. 2-3 people will be in Fine Arts to make clothing from furs (yes, we will be hunting animals), making weapons and fixing broken supplies. 5-6 people will be operating in Gordon Ferrel. These people will be the main supplier and the main defense. Since this is the "tool shed" of the camp, there will be excellent supplies such as blades, arrows and bullets. And with windows ONLY on the second story and a door leading to nowhere, it is an excellent sniping post. The Adirondacks, all together, can room up to 48 to 56, but most likely I will only put 10-12 people there.
If you have questions, place a thread and I will try to respond.
