What if by some starnge mutation in the virus or in a reaction from the Human Genome that a few select people turn into Super Zombies that have more thought process, strength, etc than regular zombies. This is quite probable as with almost every virus the effects are different from person to person. This would become a serious problem among survivors. What do you all think about this?

This page is also about large groups of zombies working together or not and how to deal with them.

ZombieSurvivor16: One word: Impossible, They are rotting and and breaking down in there bodys, They just cant.

Nosfera2:
i think that would really suck lol but the thought has crossed my mind and i train in agility exercises with weapons and in the even that that actually happened i think i could handle it but we wont know till it happens :)

thats why you should always have a backup backup plan.

madmortagain:
How might someone dispatch a "superhorde"? like a million zombies all in one horde. I imagine a large ammount of high explosives would work. But we probably wouldent have access to any.

byates:
There is also the flip side, what if the super zombie was different enough from the norm that the "standard" zombie would attack them? Seems reasonable to me, we don't know what they home in on and if the super zombie was "human" enough they might become a target.

I can see the zombies clumping together, if they do home in on some aspect of humanity, then many would home in on the same target, plus their moaning would attract more. Could be a way to trap them.

ALICESTAR:
heres the upside to your theory, people are stupid. most of there normal ideas (as seen on this page) are in no way tactically sound. so i really dont think you would have much to worry about if your defenses are sound and your tactics are well planned and executed you should have nothing to worry about. lets face it if they maintained higher brain function they wouldn't start eating people and they will know whats good for them when they cross one of us and they would get the hell out of the way and search for a much softer target.
