If you have access to gun shows, you will find every thing you need. I don't know about all over the U.S. and the world but at the shows I sell at you have military surplus, MRE's, melee weapons (swords, knives, spears, and etc.), and guns of every shape, size, caliber, and price.
Or like DAveBall stated above go to any stores. You don't have to go military.. There are just as good alternitives commercially.

Sounds like a great deal. And the best thing is now you can reinforce it. If its a single story I would install pluming, and generator, and reinforce the ceiling with 2 layers of 3/4 inch plywood. That gives me a second location. You know your welcome to hook up with us. Since were only 30 miles from each other.

I think periodic raids are the way to go. But don't work on New York. Start small. Once you rid a couple of tons of zeds then you can get excercise equipment, electronics, guns, ammo, food and such you can draw them out of walk through the street with a pistol.
