Swine flu was discovered in 1918. So far, during this pandemic, the odds of dying are literally one in one thousand, without treatment. And there's already a cure for it, and anyone can use it: the immune system.

Swine flu isn't as dangerous as you think.

They changed the name of the flu from Swine flu to H1N1 flu. There's more and more cases, it's now a global pandemic and they're expecting a second wave...possibly worse than the first one. There were a couple cases in the small town I live in...but no one's panicing because they stopped reporting it on the news. keep an eye out for it in your town. wash your hands, don't go to work/school if you're sick. Stay away from big crowds. same old precautions.

Drewblet Swine flu! 0 Jun 20 2009, 6:49 PM EDT by Drewblet

:-O

Without duct tape I can't seal the door to keep out the swine flu, but I can't get duct tape without going outside! Help!

My dad said flu vaccines are linked to autism, so to be safe from swine flu I'm trying to lick an autistic kid.

That last one is more clever than you think. And no, I didn't come up with those.

Honestly, swine flu is a bunch of media hype. "60 have died! No, 40 have died! Sorry, 20 have died! 3 have died!" At the moment, any swine-flu like symptoms, also known as "symptoms of influenza," are chalked up to swine flu. Somebody dies of an infection, they must have had swine flu, since they had a fever!

No, TurkishRoyals, the media thinks it's a global pandemic. It's not really.

The govts made them stop reporting it because it was causing unnecessary panic. It's not a cover-up

Trust me; there's nothing to be worried about.
