Ok, now I just got this attachment for the new ruger 10/22 that as recently purchased. My first impression is that it's a bit expensive for what it is and to be honest, it really isn't anything too complicated. While I will admit that I was skeptical, I still installed it.

I have never worked on a ruger 10/22 before, but it was surprisingly easy to remove the reciever and trigger group. To start with the one screw is removed from the underside of the stock.
Then just 2 holding pins are removed, and then the trigger group is detached.
After that 2 springs are moved out of the way, the plastic factory lever is then replaced with the machined piece ad reverse the rest of the steps.
While I obviously haven't had it for a very long time, but I am extremely pleased with how its functioning. Now that I have had some time to try it out, the price really seems worth it. The only thing that I can really say is a "bad thing" I have to say about this is(I know its a cliche) that it works a ittle too good. When I engage it to the fullest extent the mag drops to the ground. In some situations it a good thing, but not all of them.
