Teenagers will still be teenagers in a post Z Day world. The question is, should there still be an emphasis in safe sex education and abstinence? The majority of humanity has been decimated by the Z plague, and it's crucial to repopulate humanity ASAP.
So...should teenagers in post Z Day be allowed to enjoy casual relattions? Or should there be an even stricter code of conduct?

I am a teenager currently living in Australia, and I don't know if this applies to other countries or not, but...
In Australia teenagers are allowed to own guns. If you are above 11 (It might be 12), you are legally eligible to obtain a firearms license for an airgun or .22 rifle. I'm sure you could also get a shotgun - it just takes a bit longer. Automatic rifles, and firearms, are really difficult, and in most cases Illegal, to have. However, semi-automatic .22 rifles are available for teenagers. For example, to Ruger 10/22.

Saw the other thread but that kid was an idiot.
So, the problem for all of us under 18 is most of the time weapons. For those of us who have parents who are ex-military or live in the country, this isn't as much of an issue. Getting access to tools and such are easier and the odd firearm or two if your parents will allow you. But for those who can't get a hold of these items, what can you get to protect yourself? Well there's a few answers. You can either A) Make your own. B) Buy tools that don't require a certain age. or C) IMPROVISE. A) Make your own. As a teen who enjoys making their own weapons, I find if you know what you're doing, it can be a lot more helpful to those who can't purchase true weapons. At first it can be hard starting out but with enough time spent trying ideas and reading what others have made, you start to realize how pretty much anything can be turned into a suitable weapon. I for one am a fan of JB Weld and Electric Tape. IF you have an idea of what metal you're dealing with JB Weld can make somewhat of a "weld" holding two or more pieces of metal together to a rather decent result. It is mostly meant for iron or steel but the occasional off metal can be somewhat "welded". Also, electric tape can be used to hold together two objects, metal or otherwise, or hold an object inside another. B) Buying tools in which don't require a set age. To name a few, these are tools which can either be modified or used as is to be effective as a weapon: -Crowbar. In most places you can buy one no questions asked and, with a good amount of practice, it can be a decent bludgeon weapon. -Nail bat. It's a bat with nails in it. Nothing illegal about buying a baseball bat and nails. Just don't do it at the same time or you may get some odd looks.

i was wondering what you think about kids forging weapons, not stick knives, but actual metal weapons. i myself am only 14 but i just made an iron spike about 3.5 feet tall that when thrown, goes though 3 inches of metal and poke the tip and a little of the rod in the back. i also am making r.r. spike knives. so whats your opinion about kids forging weapons?

What do you think it should cover. I mean besides the Z-Survival basics. Do you think traditional education would have any merit and to what grade level?

I am a teenager in colorado, and my family situation isn't one that can adhere to this plan. Here's why.
1. My parents are divorced and live at least fifty miles from each other. 2. My mom caught me making a Bug out bag and now won't trust the "emergency kit" excuse. 3. My dad will immediately go to a major city or wherever the news says is safe without question (and most likely get me killed with him). 4. My mom's car wouldn't last two seconds with a zombie trying to get in. 5. My sister get's scared way too easily to survive. 6. My houses are poorly fortified if they decide to hold out at one. 7. My chance of being in a scarcely populated area when the SHTF is only two in fourteen. 8. There are only three safe zones in Colorado listed on this site, neither of which my parents will go to.

Hi, I am a 15 year old who lives in Australia.
I have been reading the threads in this forum for a while now. I have not got a proper plan for when SHTF. What should I do? I can shoot My .22 rifle pretty good, we have a 2 house hamlet on 3000 acres of farm area. We have a large shed, and two smaller sheds. In the event of a zombie apocolypse, where would the best place to go? Should we Bug Out or should we stay in one area? Should we go looking for survivors, or say "screw it, let em die?" Should i just pack a shotgun and drive off? What types of zombies are there? I saw references to "Ragers(?)" I watched Resident Evil 1,2,3 and Degeneration. Would real zombies be that slow, that obsessed with eating my face? Thanks for looking, -Kealy

some other things I think could be helpful would be joining a sporting event. Things like Football, basketball, or even a maching band could help greatly seeing as they all build teamworking skills and physical stamina. Or, if those don't appeal to you (but I suggest this even if you do a sport) join a scouting organisation. They teach a lot of important survival skills that would be absolutely crucial in a post z-day world. Learn military strategies, as boring as they are, they could help if you plan on being a 'soldier' or working with a team of survivors.

Will our parents trust us? Will they say "No, going to [PLANNED DESTINATION] is stupid, we're staying here"? If they'll trust us (unlikely, but not necessarily unreasonable), great, come on, Mom and Dad, let's get the hell out of here. If not, and Dad wants to stay put, is it unreasonable that we leave him behind?

SO I MADE A SPIKE OUT OF A POOL NOODLE AND THREW IT. It then went through 4 inches of solid steel and continued going until it hit the ISS. Hahahhahaha. guess where the idea came from!
