Good first draft. I say first draft because these things get improved and refined the longer you spend on the site.

You are preparing for a worst case scenario (Class 4 on the ZSG) which is wise. However you have got a few comments on there which are a touch optimistic.

I'll touch on the most common points now. First, you are assuming the roads will be clear. In a panic situation, roads, particularly main highways and the Interstates will be clogged first with traffic, then abandoned vehicles. Any travelling is best planned on the back roads.

Second, you are travelling from NC to PA then to OK. Thats a long route. 500 miles then 1,200 miles. Laden vehicles, back roads will make it worse. Consider having everyone from each location travel separately to your BOL. (We'll get to that in a second)

Third, you make the assumption that Wal-Mart and the stores will be left unmolested come the Panic. But look at the scenes around Christmas when the shops are shut for a couple of days and there is a blizzard warning. No water, no milk, no bread, sometimes nothing left on the shelves at all. Stock up ahead of time. If that means having a bigger larder, rotating the cans so the oldest ones aren't left at the back, then do it. But prepare now, not later.

Finally, your BOL. You haven't really got a fixed idea in your mind. If you follow your original plan, you will all be in OK. How well do you know the area? What makes you think you will be able to find an unoccupied building during the Panic? If you think you will be moving ahead of everyone else, then the building is likely to be occupied by citizens unaware of what is coming. If you are moving after the Panic, you are likely to get eaten.

Whilst some of the last minute supply gathering is able to be done when the first "odd reports of rabid people shrugging off gunshot wounds" start to come in, your BOL is going to be long term.
