We're no where near screwed as some people say we are. First I live about 20 miles from the Royal Armouries Which has several thousand fully functioning guns and ammunition for all types. I can get there in utter safety by cannel as it goes right up the side of the armouries.Alright this may only only apply to people in yorkshire, but there are lots of museums in Britain that have fully functioning firearms and ammunition.

Another factor favouring Britain is that on average a Brittish home is stronger than an American, and most other european homes.

On some pages on this site people have said that British police do not carry guns, to a certain extent they are correct, however, due to the current climate of the threat of terrorism, more and more police officers have trained to become firearm officers. This means that someone in Britain could go to a police station, and if they were all already dead/zombies or they needed help you could get a gun. The most common typesof gun used by the British police are the G-36, the Mp-5 and the Glock 17. There is also a devision in the midlands that bears P-90's.

We also have one of the most reliable, rugged, toughest and most capable vehicles in the world: The Land Rover (by the way there are lots of ex military landrovers going cheap).

Also there are meant to have bben over 3million guns smuggled in to England, just England since the late 80's.

So if zombies did attack Britain would be just as safe if not safer than America or any other country.

The yanks have it pretty much sorted with what they'd use on the roads post Z day. But here in GREAT BRITAIN we ain't got that many Hummers or Dodge ram's. So we've got to make do with what we've got. The van i'd like to suggest; or, bring to the floor; is: The FORD TRANSIT van. The 350 long wheelbase version, has a 2.8 turbo diesel lump, is good and heavy, and has plenty of room for pretty much anything. The chassis can have a bull bar fitted with just 4 bolts, and apart from the cab, there aren't any windows (dependent on the model). they have a fantastic turning circle. The engine air intake is high so you can go through water about 4 foot deep, EASY! you can easyly secure your load in the back. Also, purely as a bonus, there bloody fast! Obviously this van isn't for all situations, but its pretty much a swiss army knife with wheels! Let the debait begin!!!
