OK so what happens on Z-day when you need to find a mode of transportation and fast well i think i can help. Here are some of the possible choices you may have depending on where you are located. Remember these are just examples what you drive is to your discretion.
OK i am going to be talking about a number of different modes of transportation including but not limited to :
- Cars
- Trucks
- Buses
- Transport Trucks
- Trains
- Construction Equipment
- Animals (horses)
- Bikes (motorcycles, pedal bikes)
- Boats
- Heavy Vehicles
OK so first we have your common car in this case a Toyota Prius. Now a small car such as this has both advantages and disadvantages one major advantage is the over all gas mileage/gas range 67 Mpg highway and 71 Mpg city driving to be exact. Now if your located in a major city this type of car is readily available which is yet another advantage plus these cars are small and quite compared to most others on the road. OK now for the disadvantages smalls such as this can't carry a lot of supplies and they wont be able to withstand much damage so keep these two factors in mind.

Alright now we are gonna talk about the truck. Now the truck is a in most cases a solid vehicle that can be available to you in both the city and the country. OK whats the first thing you think about when you look at truck such as this? i don't know what you think but i know that when i see a truck like this i wanna get in it and go off-road which is one thing that these trucks are made for but if you need to get through somewhere that has lots of rock and deep mud so on and so forth you might run into trouble with a stock truck but a modified truck may be just what your looking for in that situation. OK now one thing that i think sets the truck apart from the rest is the fact that you can both carry a good amount of supplies and people without sacrificing mobility which is gonna be a big factor when driving through a major city.

Now I'm not limiting this category to only school buses there are also city buses, tour buses, shuttle buses i think you get the point. Now when it comes to the bus you have lots of room for both supplies and people which is an advantage but there is also a down side to every advantage in this case its gas mileage/gas range, now an empty bus with a skilled driver can actually get pretty good mileage (for having an engine that big that is) but once you add the weight of people and supplies you are putting a great strain on that engine to move that bus so that is gonna substantially cut down your gas mileage making it as mush a disadvantage as it is an advantage. Buses are big and heavy vehicles that can take a fair bit if damage before stopping but not even a bus can go forever, Luckily you can find buses relatively easily seeing as most city's and county's have schools.

Alright now when it comes to transport trucks they are big, strong, and usually not that hard to find. But there is another thing to think about when it comes to a transport truck, A trailer, now this is where things get interesting because a transport truck on its own can't haul much but add a trailer and as simple as that you got yourself one hell of a lot of supplies space but there are many trailers to choose from so which one should you choose well that all depends there are a large number of different trailers for you to choose from so ill list a couple of them right now
- Box trailers
- Live stock trailers
- Flat beds
- Stake beds
and transport trucks have the luxury of having two fuel tanks so they are capable of driving long distances without having to refuel.

OK so basically trains are pretty much unstoppable unless they derail, they can carry massive amounts of supplies and people and pretty much anything that gets in your way is going down. The down side in my opinion is that you are limited to going where the tracks take you and sometimes you can't get to where you wanna go by train. Once again you have different train cars but in most cases you really don't have a choice which ones your gonna use.

OK i don't know about anyone else but i have always wanted to get into a front end loader like this and just run down some zombies. The thing about these is that they may be a little more difficult to find depending on your location so just keep in mind that if you can't get one its not the end of the world well it just might be actually. Now the front end loader is not your only option but it does seem to be the best to me because take the bulldozer for example pretty much unstoppable but slow where these front loaders may not be as unstoppable as the bulldozer they are faster so in my opinion its a better option front end loaders are designed to work majority of the day without needing to refuel. But a front end loaders can't carry much as far as supplies goes pretty much once you fill the bucket you are done, and i guess a few people can sit on the back and on the roof.

OK so some may say that you can't go wrong riding a horse well actually you can, horses may be fast and they may be quieter then a vehicle but they are also living things that need to eat and sleep. Horses have a natural instincts that tells them when they are in danger so trying to get them to run while you are surrounded by zombie just wouldn't work the horse would just buck you off and then run away. Horses are also very limited as to what they can carry pretty much what ever can be carried on the saddle including the rider and that's about it. And as for finding them, well if you live in the city your pretty much out of luck in the country on the other hand there a little bit more assessable.

OK so the motorcycle is a good choice depending on how you look at it. They are able to drive for a long time without needing to refuel even with the small gas tank they have stock so with a little modification these things can go forever (not literally). Motorcycles can't really carry much but they are also fast and very manoeuvrable so this is another one of those your own discreation kinda deals.

OK to be totally honest there is really two advantages to riding a bicycle one they are very quite and two you dont need gas, The disadvantages would be that you can't take really anything with you unless you can strap it to your back, plus you can't bring anyone with you.

OK well with the boat as always it has its ups and downs. Having a boat is nice because as we all know zombies can't swim so your pretty safe on a boat. Now depeneding on the size of yoru boat you can carry a good amount of supplies and a few people. the only time you really have to worry about having enough gas if your gonna be going far away from shore which is unnessacary because as long as your fair enough away so the zombies can't reach your boat you have no problems.

Heavy vehicles like tanks and armored transports have many pros and cons. the pros are that these vehicles are possibly even more unstopable than a train, can run on most any liquid fuel, have tons of weaponry usually, can move considerably fast ( the m1abrams main battle tank can go in upwards of 30 mph), and are pretty much only limited in cargo moving capabilities by how much you can fit in and on it. The cons, however, are that even though most modern main battle tanks go over 300 miles without refueling, they burn 1 gallon of fuel for every mile they go, they also have limited sight for the driver, and where the hell can you get one if you don't live pretty much right next to an army base, not to mention that you need special training and gear to operate most armored vehicles effectively.
Now everything i have said here is just examples and opinions what you drive is absolutly your choice. But be smart when deciding what to drive think about where you are, where your going, what its gonna take to get there, what you might incounter one the way, and finally how you think your vehicle will hold up to it.
