Huuuu-wah! I got it today! The Four Wheel Jive, 36 liter day pack made by Eastern Mountain sports. Its a terrific pack, in my mind about perfect, for a BOB. Be sure to check the links in my profile to view contents as I fill it up with good stuff.
I chose the red color for "check point camouflage" and forest visibility. I do want visibility in the wild since I intend to use this bag for hikes and one night out camping. I would hate to be out during a hunting season and get pegged because I did not look entirely human. Likewise, I dont want to appear militant at any check point as I GOOD. Yep, the Bugout Bag is biggest and you can get more stuff in it. So out of the two the 55ltr Bugout Bag makes the best (BOB) I just like the 3 day elite! mainly because of the pocket for the laptop, not really needed in a BOB, but general use its handy...

200,000 rounds for each gun?? Sniff, sniff, kinda smells like a Texas stock yard around here. So, a million bucks or so in ammo. Grappling hook? planning on goin pirating? It would take a ship to lug all that gear round with. Who lets these people in? Keep it simple dude, put your name on a body bag tank, crawl in it, you'll be one of the first to go anyways.

So I've set up 2 bags so far. The first bag is a Fox45L bag, which I recommend as a great/inexpensive carry all. It has 2 pouches which hold for my (2) camel bak 3 liters. It holds everything in the first bag. See the 2nd bag below.. The bags are tentatively set at a total of 70 lbs, with the Fox bag maxing out at 35lbs.
The trekking poles are invaluable for long hikes and the iphone has high res GPS maps for the western states in it(not to mention music and videos to keep me sane). I'm still looking for a quality solar panel to carry on my pack to keep the iPhone charged. Everything on the list is available, except for quality flash bangs-those are problematic.. I'm all about redundancy, so some of that will be pushed into the 2nd bag --Fox 45L Bug out bag-- Fox Entrenching tool Zippo-easy to keep full/nice flint survival matches packs(2) fire starting(fastfire—solkoa)this stuff is potent-check their page out light sticks-10 scrabble(to keep my mind sharp) pack of cards fishing kit colored vest(for hunting) Katadyn water purifier($199 well spent) Disposable masks iphone Gerber backpack ax cold steel machete Leatherman Multitool wave CR Knife Glock 22 .40 .40---100 rds duct tape toilet paper Shemagh beanie full face mask pants underwear shirt Led flashlights—AAA headphones 16 AAA batteries (2) rain ponchos (2) soldier fuel powerbars sunglasses Operators gloves—tough, slash proof, &well made snake/bee kit- “The Extractor” 10 carbiners Black Diamond trail shock poles emergency blankets(4) Princeton Tec 8 LED Headlamp (Blue) BARSKA 10x25 Atlantic Monocular CamelBak 100 oz. When the SHTF, all that you can really count on having is what you are wearing and what is in your pockets. How ready would you be? Reference website

I'm not sure. i'd go with whichever one complements yuor already-aquired equipment. Myself, i'd go with the larger one.
