Wait...I think there must have been a typo in there somewhere? You wouldn't be able to get away unnoticed or kill them, yet you're saying you've trained yourself to become very stealthy?

Either way, let's say a good range for you is, I dunno, 60 yards (furthest I can shoot is around 40, so I'm better you're a bit more.) I have personally heard a crossbow from further than that distance away. So, after the first shot, let's say it takes 10 seconds to reload. In that time, you've got a large number of people all searching for you in short order, and there aren't but so many places you can hide. In addition, speaking from experience myself, fast-moving targets are rather hard to hit with a crossbow, so you'll have to deal with that as well.

Also, there's no way of knowing what type of terrain you come across someone in. It could be anything from a flat field to a city.

I'm not saying that it's impossible to defeat multiple people armed with guns using a crossbow. I'm just saying it'd be quite difficult and probably isn't something to be counted on.
