Yes i know some of this stuff on the big list is a little unrealistic, but hey i can dream can't I?
Please tell me what you think of this list, as i will strive to improve it for your convenience.
Also please help me to improve my list of safe house locations, any and all constructive input would be greatly appreciated :D
I apologize for placing the safe houses in the wrong section.
I rate each safe house with a 1-10 scale on 5 topics; Security ( How safe you are from zeds while staying in the safe house or the availability of security equipment such as cameras, or weapons), Storage ( how many supplies it can hold until it is filled to capacity), vehicle accessibility (how easily it is for a vehicle to safely enter and leave the safe house), Supply availability (the availability of critical supplies such as food, water, medicine, ammunition, and clean clothing from the safe house and the surrounding area), and the Overall rating.

Safe House Locations

A High School- A high school would make an excellent refuge from the Zs due not only to it's excellent structural integrity but also due to its heavy security doors ( at least my high school had these). Also most schools have many specialised rooms such as a cafeteria or a garage for auto shop. This makes the school an excellent place to store large vehicles and most food. However, Most schools are so large that they would take a huge number of survivors to defend, so unless you brought friends i wouldn't' recommend staying in a school very long. i would rate this safe house with a 7/10 for security a 9/10 for storage a 7/10 for vehicle accessibility and a 8/10 for supply availability. Overall it gets a 7/10

A Bank- While banks vary in size, i think we can all agree that they are extremely secure, and would not be easy to break into if they were completely locked down. Zombies would have an extremely hard time getting past the locked doors and safety glass which is nearly impossible to break into. As an added bonus most banks have a network of security cameras both on the outside and the inside, which means you get to see them much before they get to see you. In the way of storage i don't think that a bank would be much of a problem, however getting in and out of the bank to gather supplies would be difficult as there is no easy way to do so. If you are planning on barricading yourself inside of a bank, you should bring friends as this safe house would not be easy to defend alone.I give this safe house a 9/10 for security, a 7/10 for storage a 3/10 for vehicle accessibility and a 5/10 for supplies. 6/10 overall.

An average House- Houses are designed to make you feel literally "At Home" but in the matter of security many houses fall short of the mark. As houses are very rarely equipped with safety glass it would be easy for a ghoul to shatter a window and force its way in; that is unless of course you were smart and boarded them up. Doors can be locked and unlocked from the inside which gives added security, but how long they will hold of a horde of rampaging zombies no one can tell. As for storage most houses come with a garage, and if your lucky a yard with high fences; although i am not sure if zombies can climb fences, it's worth a shot right? Hopefully you have a backup power generator in case of a power outage. As for Vehicle Accessibility, the garage is an ideal place for storing cars, and depending on it's size maybe 2 or 1 large truck. The number of survivors needed to defend a house would of course, depend on the size of the home, but for even defending a small house i still would bring a few buddies, just in case. i give this safe house 7/10 for security, 8/10 for storage a 10/10 for vehicle accessibility and a 8/10 for supplies. Overall the house gets a 7/10

A Small Hospital- staying at a hospital is risky for many reasons, one of which is that some of the patients treated there may be infected and later become zombies. However, if the hospital is abandoned it could make a decent safe house as long as you completely block off most of the exits. The availability of pharmaceuticals such as antibiotics, and pain relievers is a useful asset. Most hospitals are equipped with a backup generator for power outages which will greatly help you stay alive. Some of the larger hospitals have rescue helicopters positioned on helipads, however you would be extremely lucky to find a helicopter as most of them would have been long gone by now. Depending on the size of the hospital, you will wanna bring a lot of help with you because even a small hospital is too big to defend alone. I give the hospital a 7/10 for security, a 7/10 for storage, a 7/10 for vehicle accessibility, and a 9/10 for supplies. The hospital gets a 7/10 overall

A church- Churches can make a nice temporary safe house as you are traveling, but it probably wouldn't' be wise to stay there too long. Large doors could be securely closed and barricaded, move the benches to make a 2nd line of defense from which you can fall back to if any break through the door. Stained glass windows could be shattered, although most of them are located high above the ground. Not many supplies to be found here, and it has no vehicle accessibility unless you want to park your car in the parking lot, which would be crawling with zombies. However for a survivor who is brave enough to travel on foot the church would make a nice place to crash for the night. I give the church 7/10 for security, 8/10 for storage, 2/10 for vehicle accessibility, and a 3/10 for supplies. Overall i give the church a 5/10

A cattle ranch- Cattle ranches would be one of the best places to stay during an outbreak due to the high fences with barbed wire and an electrical current. Food could be grown here if you have the proper materials, and the cattle behavior would warn you of approaching Zs. As large as the ranch is it should be no problem growing, and storing your food. The place most likely has a shotgun or rifle with some ammo for you, and you will not have to scavenge as often due to the fact that you grow your own food. I am unsure if the electrical current will effect the zombies since they don't feel pain, but perhaps it will disrupt the faint electrical signals that feed from the body's senses to the brain telling it what is going on, thus disorientating them. You should be fairly safe here. I give the cattle range a 8/10 for security, a 9/10 for storage, a 10/10 for supplies, and a 8/10 for vehicle accessibility. I give the cattle ranch an overall rating of 9/10

A military base- Military bases are probably the most secure of all safe houses due the fact that they have a large number of outer perimeter defenses along with a huge supply of weapons and ammo. Most military bases will have a large fenced in outer perimeter with barbed wire, watchtowers, an armoury, ammo dump, mess hall, infirmary, barracks, and other useful areas. You wont have to look hard to find some heavy duty vehicles in here, and if you are lucky to arrive there when there are still soldiers, you may even be evacuated. In the infirmary you can find some medications, and the mess hall will probably have at least a little food that hasn't gone bad. The armoury will have a huge assortment of weapons of all kinds, and visit the ammo dump for more ammunition. There is more than enough room for anything you might have brought with you and plenty more room for more to be brought in. With luck the base will have a security network of cameras so you can spy on the Zs. However, The military base does have one downside, It would be nearly impossible to defend without a huge number of survivors, so if you're gonna use it, bring lots of friends. It will still not be easy to survive in a world full of walking corpses.Overall the military base gets 10/10. Storage is 10/10, security get a 10/10, vehicle accessibility gets a 10/10 and a 10/10 for the supplies, finishing with a perfect score.
