Hey guys, it's Zedslayer123 and I will show you my zombie survival plan.
Part 1: The First Shaky Day The first day of the apocalypse will be rough. I consider the first day the day zombies appear on the area I live in, and the great panic will begin. In the course of the first week, many will turn into zombies. I estimate 3 days until the power is dead, 4 until the water works fails. In the first week, 95% of the people in my country will try to escape (P.S, My country doesn't allow firearms). Because of my extensive thinking of the zombie world, I realized that those who escape will most likely ride cars. Unfortunately for them, the only country next door is North Korea, so escape by land is impossible. In response, air ports and docks will be flooded, but the government will use the planes and boats for themselves, and privately owned vehicles will used by those who own them. Therefore, the majority of the population will be trapped in their car, in a long traffic jam. Those at the front of the jam will try to stow in planes or protest, those in the middle and the back will be oblivious to what is going on. When zombies arrive, those in the jam are nothing more than canned food. I suspect that the zombie epidemic will most likely start between 7AM-6PM, that time, people will be outdoors. That is a convenient time for zombies to bite unsuspecting individuals. At this time, I will be in school. At first, there will only be 2,000 or so zombies in Z-day. Later, the number will grow to 500,000 in less than 2 hours. By that time, the government will be aware of the threat. All the schools will be contacted by the government to send the students home, including our school. Our school has a system where students and teachers go to the auditorium in earthquakes, fires, or any government messages. In the case of zombies, that will be about an hour before they come to the suburbs the school is in.

G'day folks, zDexter here pushing the survivor effort in Australia, This is my firsst post (so please, be harsh) and as i see it there are 3 sure-fire ways of surviving a ZPOC here, short of locking yourself in a cellar with a steel door are:
1. Heading out west into the scarcely populated outback 2. Living at sea, or Sydney harbour or 3. Escaping into the bush. During the intial panic of Z-day i doubt that it would be possible to safely drive the 4 hours it would take to take me out of my urban area so my plan relies on bailing into the bush. Keep in mind that no matter how well planned we are, or how many details we have taken into consideration, our survival will depend on circumstantial and opportunistic factors. e.g You have a foolproof zombie plan, a perfect BOB and BOL, a ssource of food and water, but z-day strikes when you're in the city attending a huge music festival (game over) With that in mind, i devised my plan with spontanaety at the forefront. 2 minutes from my house lies an entrance to a vast bush reserve, in which a few select friends and i have created our BOL, complete with cliff on one side, climbable for us, not so much for zack, thick scrub and ankle traps on all other sides, make-shift bed and fireplace and a pantry. Consisting of a hidden eski containing enough canned food and drink for a few days. When zeds strike my friends and i (who all share a common plan) can make it to our BOL in a timely manner from anywhere in the near local area. If i am fortunate enough to be at home and the option of bugging in isn't an available option (i have a separate plan for bugging in at home) i can have myself geared up and my BOB packed in just over a minute, armed with a crowbar i can be in the safety on the bush within minutes.

My plan- Despite being my age, I do own all this equipment and can drive both the truck and boat mentioned. Do not doubt this (if you do, keep it to yourself please) or I will get angry and you won’t like my guns nor my bow when I’m angry.

B.O.B. 2.0 (Bug Out Boat) The following are packed and ready-to-go on it; 8 wooden pallets for easy building 30 2by4’s for linking said pallets and future usage 2 boxes of 400 galvanized nails 1 tool kit [hammer, screwdriver, level, pack of sand paper (20 sheets), whittling knife, hack saw, hatchet, chain saw, sharpener, flint and steel] 40 yards of rope (300lbs) and 200feet of rope (45lbs) 3 solar panels (60watts, 180total), set up kit [assorted wires, 6batteries (3 in use at a time, 3backup), support beams] 40 4by8 planks 1Magic Mesh door 8 all-weather hinges 3cans of rubber sealant 10yards of mosquito netting Sewing kit [10 yards of burlap, 15 yards of dark green cotton, 30 spools of clear thread, pack of assorted needles and pins (10 quilting, 100 quilting pins, 200 silk pins, 50 hand needles, assorted eye sizes), 3 bags worth of filling cotton in vacuum sealed bags 1 dark grey tarp 3 camouflage tarps 2rods, 50yards of fishing line, 30hooks 2 buckets of seeds, five bags of soil, five bags of pure pig fertilizer (trust me, the whole boat smells because of these!) 10 plastic growing containers (6inch wide by 3ft long by 7 inch tall)

When i realize that the outbreak is occurring the odds are that i am at home so my first action is to get my mom to call the list of people to initiate the plan they are to get their supplies and head to the primary holdout and start securing and fortifying it.
The exception is the level 3 federal firearm dealer i know he is to get his friends around and i will be heading over to his place to pick up some better firepower and his team we are going to head to walmart in the nearby town on the way drop off the extra weapons and ammo at the primary holdout. At the walmart we will drive around behind it avoiding attention of the zombies or any people that might be alive to the loading docks and snag a crate or two of beef stew or other non-refrigerated food we can get our hands on and put it in the back of the pickup. On the way we will get 4 gallons of diesel and drop it off and two people at a barn and on the way back from the walmart trip we stop to pick them up and i follow them in the tank and stop at the gas station and fill it up and we return to the primary holdout. The two people are to locate the tank in the garage the keys and add the 4 gallons of diesel in preparation for me to drive it. The primary holdout is in Mendon, MI the IAC factory its perimeter is fenced and has 2 gates and forklifts and many crates to quickly block off and reinforce the building.

As i am 13 my plan is very sketchy but I am hoping to get some good advice so please give me as many pointers as possible
first of all my B.O.B. I have very limited resources so its just starting out 1 bic lighter 1 5" fixed blade knife with sheath 1 flash light (those small led ones that are really bright) 10 AAA batteries 10 AA batteries 1/2 a dozen bottles of water 1 sleeping bag assorted toiletries aluminum baseball bat thats pretty much my BOB now for my plan At first signs of outbreak i would first of all get my family in on whats going on and if my dad is in on it well have acess to a whole lot of guns, bolt guns and shot guns mostly and a couple 9mms. If he doesnt go along with it my plan is thrown off and id porbly hole up at home and survive as long as possible but would eventually die probably. Saying he does go along with it we would probably load up our 2 cars, both chevy tahoes luckily, with food, water and weapons and make our way to my school. Now my school is a private school so it not ur normal 1 building giant school, it is a very spread out and includes a lot of stand-alone structures like a fine arts building and the 3 story hig school. If I am able to contact my two friends and their families well and we would meet up at school. my mom grew up on a farm so she should know how to start a small farm in the center of the track. At my school there are also plenty of point where i can see the street, I've scouted these my self and the entire school is surrounded by either 6 ft high boarded fences or 7 ft high wrought iron fences, giving us lots of firing positions and with scoped rifles it should be easy picking. Again I'm sure there are tons of flaws in my plan so please comment a lot

A new development in my life is forcing me to relocate back to my hometown of New York City. Specifically, I will be residing in the borough of Brooklyn. A good friend of mine will be letting me live with her as a room mate. Fortunately, she is also on board with me for making bug out plans.
I will be living in a walk up apartment on the third floor with access to the roof. There is also a fire escape on the back of the building that drops down to the backyard. The buildings on both sides of the block are attached and form a ring around the backyard area. There is a narrow exit, about a foot wider than a car, protected by a metal gate. The entrance is out of the way enough to keep a number of zeds from wandering over and trying to push through. The backyard is protected enough so I feel safe to grow vegetables there. However, I don't plan on sticking around long enough to produce a harvest. I will get prepared in a similar way like I do in Florida during hurricane season. I plan on stocking up on enough food and water for two people for at least a week. This is in addition to whatever food we have on hand from a regular trip to the store. I also plan on growing vegetables on the fire escape anyway to save on food bills so that will supplement what I have saved. Other supplies such as first aid, tools, survival gear, etc will also be stocked up beforehand as well. Hopefully we can survive the Panic and our building won't be raided or burned down.

Well I will start with my BOB
Crowbar - for melee (Inspired by half life) 22 rifle - For hunting Shotgun - For close range and hunting Journal - To record every characteristic of the zombies Axe- Firewood and melee Ammo - To be sure I never run out A pot - To boil water to clean it A book of different kinds of poisons ( know what I am savaging) A fishing rod' A book about camping and stuff Bottled water Food extra clothes Dual Kukri's Lock blade Hunting knife ducttape Now my Bol: Bring my brother and dog to Roper Mountain Science center ( It has a good area for shelter in the entrance A nature walk full of huntable racoons and ducks and a pond full of catfish and a historical area with a Corn patch). However because of its size and easy entrance forest me and him are still debating. So we may just barricade somewhere in the suburban area we call home ( vegetable garden abandoned tennis court next to lake and plenty weapons) Journal plan: When I see certain behaviors of these things I can record it so I have better chances of survival (E.g. If I see them kill eachother ) Horde Plan:Avoid all noise and wait with a molotov cocktail or homemade flamethrower for them to come.

Zombies: Not super strong, not incredibly fast. They hear and see as far as people, but can smell up to a half mile away. They feel no fear or pain, and can be killed by bleeding out or having their heads blown off. They spead their infection through contact with saliva and blood. When infected, it takes about a day to turn.
Starting equipment; Weapons: 12-guage pump-action shotgun with 100 buckshot shells, 22 calibur rifle, scoped, with 100 shots, Scoped 44. Magnum with 100 shots, Steel Baseball bat, Machete. Armor: Three pairs of thick denim jeans, leather gloves, hiking boots, Two leather jackets, a neckbrace, and a motorcycle helmet. Other equipment: Vaccuum pump/sealer, Nintendo DS Lite, Plastic bags, Chess set, Backpack, mixed antiseptics, Pennicillin, US Army Survival Manual, LED flashlight, BATTERIES, Binoculars, 30 lbs of food, about 30 belts (good for repairing/covering areas of clothing), Whetstone, Possible generator if vehicle is there, soap. Starting Party: Myself, three to five friends. PLAN 1 Offensive take: Day one: 1) Notice zombies in town or hear in some way. 2) Gear up and evacuate the town of survivors to near where I live out the highway 3 miles up the mountain. Days 2-4: Evacuation. Day 5: Detonate Bridge, sealing off a three mile area from the zombies, then detonate the rear bridge as well. Day 7-12: Construct swing out bridge allowing access to the town. Days 13-Indefinate: Take self and party across the bridge armed to the teeth, kill as many Zombies as possible, pushing further into the town, then moving on a crusade to destroy the zombie menace, setting up survivors at key choke points along the way and leaving our mark upon every post. fortifying and 'zombie proofing' routes we clear.

This is something I've thought about for a long time, but never really discussed with anyone until lately. The plan, I feel, is a good enough guideline to use, but flexible enough to change in the face of unforeseen events. I'm basing this on what and who is available to me if Z- Day were to happen in about 5 minutes.
Preparations: I live in Southwest Florida, so my household is always prepared for hurricanes, so we perpetually have a three day supply of food and water. Phase one: Bugging in. Head over to family friend's house with wife and mother- in- law. This person is a sheriff's deputy. There is a good chance she will be on call, but we have a spare key. Even if she's called away, she has an open door policy with us when she's gone. If she's home, even better. We would bring over whatever supplies we have. She lives close enough that we could run over on foot and be there in less than two minutes. We would then begin fortifying the house. When the panic is over, phase two begins. Phase two: Bugging out. When the panic subsides and the streets begin to clear, we would then begin to move on to our "safe haven." My friends in a town about 80 miles north from where I live will hopefully have survived and begin Operation Fortitude. This will be our BOL and home for a while. It is a place I have lived in for five years and known for twenty (I used to spend my summer vacation at my grandparents there.) This town is somewhat isolated by the Intracoastal Waterway and the only direct way on the "island" is by three draw bridges. There is a small strip of land to the south that connects to land, and this will need to be monitored. We might dig a series of trenches across the narrowest point to deter zeds and raiders. The house of one of my friends has been determined to be the place to centralize ourselves. This is just a general outline and any constructive criticism is welcome.

this is my plan (obviously)
1st thing: find a melee weapon 2nd thing: head out of town by any means possible and head to bowden (its a small town half an hour south of red deer) if im not alredy there 3rd thing: find a gun in red deer while i pass through that and supplies and ammo 4th thing: head to bowden 5th thing: set up some minnor barricades on some small houses 6th thing: find a few more survivors to help me 7th thing: after finding those survivors we go raid some towns and construction sites for more barricade materials and to build a wall around the town 8th thing: after we have the wall and advanced barricades we start stealing solar generators 9th thing: we start our own small farm in the golf course p.s one thing the best thing about is its lack of high buildings so that i can climb the water tower with a couple snipers and cover the town from the tower so no raiders or zombies can attack our base

A survival plan depends on how fast these creatures spread. If they just show up at the door like Jehovah Witnesses, your plan becomes hold out here. I imagine cities will get bad fast, but rural areas will handle it better. I also imagine a state of civil emergency being declared, probably as the first cities suffer the outbreak. I'll probably get called up with my guard unit to help control the situation, we'll probably be fortifying shelters for first responders.

I'm 14, I have almost no weapons in my house, and I've been raised to be more pacifistic than violent.
We own no guns, but I've thought and I've found there are some creative things you can do with a garage full of tools. Now, if a zombie apocalypse does happen at some point I intend to gather as many people as I can in my neighborhood together. I have quite a few gun enthusiasts nearby and some other people with firearms training, as well as people who are multi-talented (I.e. my old scoutmaster). There's a warehouse nearby that has fencing around it on all sides (metal fencing, not wooden) And its between the suburbs and some stores (Kroger's, Home Depot, Family Dollar, that sort of thing). Also, it has its own power generator. So, assuming I'm not killed before I can do anything, my plan is this 1) gather enough tools and supplies to last a few months 2) get everyone still alive in the nearby neighborhoods together and to the warehouse (eliminating all of the zombies in our way) 3) Once settled, send out teams to raid the nearby houses 4) send half of the group to raid the nearby stores and rescue any survivors found 5) (this is where things get more complicated) constantly eliminate all zombies found in the surrounding areas (say a half mile perimeter around the warehouse?) rescuing all survivors found 6) periodically send out teams to scout and give us estimated population densities of the zombies in the area (which will change as step 5 is completed repeatedly and as time progresses and zombies slowly make their way here), rescue any survivors, and search for necessary resources We would hold out there until either a massive horde comes and kills us all or the military comes by.

Where: Just picture this house, but with a large fence around it that is very, very sturdy with spikes at the top.
I also want to figure out some way to build a platform on the roof, that way we can put gun turrets up on the roof. And also picture it not so close to the houses on either sides. http://www.greenvilledailyphoto.com/index.php/2006/11/27/hampton-pinckney-historic-preservation-area/ Who: Family Members: Mom and my brother - if they survive Close Friends: I am only going to have 5 or 6 of my closest friends, it depends how many of my friends survive. A Team of Professionals: Doctor - to assist in medical care Contractor - he could really halp in fortifying the house and also making gun turrets of some sort Chef - to help prepare food and make the less appetizing food more... appetizing DayCare Supervisor - this person could help take care of little children and babies, if there are any Our Vehicles: We will take these vehicles into town at the beginning and end of every week to gather more supplies and take in some stranded and/or injured people. School Bus: Unfortunately, we are going to have to hijack a school bus. We will use this to transport supplies and "refugees" that we picked up. We will put steel plating over the windows and door (if we can manage), plus put spikes on the wheels. http://www.busbank.com/school-bus-rental-Pittsburgh/ |
