Plan A is done open for disscussion. In the mean time feel free to suggest, constructive criticism is always appreciated!
The Plan / RVE:
Plan A: Provided the outbreak starts in another country and roads are realtivly clear, I will collect my friends and I will head west to the mountains. No RVE, go right to BOL in West Virgina do not collect $200
(Location I)
Plan B:
Bugging in for the first few days, wait until I decide it is clear enough then bug out heading due east after hooking up with my personel. Head to docks and sail out to a small island in the Chesapeake Bay, and set up shop.
(Location II)
For those who are not yet in personal contact with my group, a Rendezvous and Extraction Location will be set up (Location of your RVE). LINK (To your RVE Page, which should be filed under HERE)
1) Location / Supplies:
Location I: Single story house w/basement on a mountainside overlooking a family friend's farm over in the valley across the river. This location has plenty of guns and ammo, a stocked pantry of canned, and dried food. Along with two 50 gallon water barrels filled with water, the house is also surrouned by woods with plenty of game, forage and in the warmer months there are some small gardens around the house.
Location II: Lighthouse on a small island in the chesapeake, pleanty of fish in the bay and the island is suitable for crops.
Supplies:
Beretta 9mm parabellum (50 rounds)
30-06 Springfield (100 rounds)
.308 Winchester (75 rounds)
.22 long rifle (500 rounds)
Flashlight
Food
Water
Gerber folding knife
Crowbar
Maps
Heavy cotton-canvas cargo pants brown/tan
Brown leather jacket
Tee-shirts in a variety of colors
2) Fortification:
(Explain how you will secure your location and protect it against the undead and against raiders)
Location I: Grab some sheet metal from a cargo canister left just off the property and reinforce the windows, raise the cattle crossing on our side, dig in some pungi traps on the outside perimiter, assign one watch party overlooking the house, one overlooking the barn, and one overlooking the road. Maintain the two perimiter fences mending when nessecary.
Location II: Dig in a perimiter trench with some pungi spikes.
3) Initial Party:
Vance-Trained in first aid, outdoor survival, and marksmanship
Ruby-Certified welder, cross country runner
Matthew-Certified scuba diver, trained with pistols
Jade-Entertainer and artist
Crystal-Girlfriend
4) Transportation:
Location I: One 4 wheel drive Truck seating three in the cab and three in the reinforced bed if runs out of gas or breaks down to an unrepairable state, foot it.
5) Communication:
Location I: Shortwave radio (listening), hand signals, animal calls
6) Weaponry:
Two 30-06's rifle
One .223 rifle
One .22long rifles
Four 9mm's
Location I: Also has a huge surplus of small arms, and tools
7) Raiding / Scavenging Plans:
Location I: Forage, hunt and farm
Location II:Use sail boat to raid mainland stores for the present, agriculture on islands east of North Carolina and Virgina
8) Evacuation:
Location I: Drive to if before SHTF if not, cross country trek to West Virgina, avoiding population centers,and foraging and hunting along the way. Resting in trees during the night, minimal noise
