I am already located in a fairly low population area. My biggest threat is that of population upheavel. I am within two hours and four hours of many a big city/military base.

I am going to be setting up a RVE at the intersection of "Edinburg Gap Rd, and Fort Valley Rd" That is State Route 675 and State Route 678, 38.770932,-78.498592. I would check in on the intersection every 10th day. There will be an ammo can placed in the ground within 10ft of the intersection sign. It will either be buried or placed under refuse.

I will date and sign a logbook inside so that you will know if I am actively looking for survivors. In the can, will be some snacks and a bottle of water. Perhaps a radio, if there is a radio, switch to channel 1.
