One of the most common defences against a zombie apocolips is waiting it out. After a person or persons has final found a place to stay that is well fortifide and can hold off the hord, there is nothing else to do but sit and wait. For what is up to you. Help, death, or even God. On this page I'll discuss what you will need to wait them out. How to keep from going crazy, and how to stay alive. Also how long you might have to wait before it's all over.
Contence:1. To stay or not to stay
2. Helping hand
3. I've got a list i'm checking once and checking twice
and once more to be safe
4. Was there a dog in here just now?
5. Whats that smell!?
TO STAY OR NOT TO STAY:If you've taken the defencive root to staying alive in a zombie situation you are more often than not to be in seach of a place to stay and wait out the hord. Many people would think to go to a super store, like Wal-Mart or Costco, or a mall. Now it's not my place to tell you that your wrong or right to do so because that's not what this page is about, but your ALL WRONG! If you go to a place like that, you are not a smart person to be with when the dead rise, just a note, because those places are what every one is thinking of. those places will be comleate craze. The people who will take the building are the ones lucky enough to have the biggest gun. After every one has had there share off supplies there won't be much left anyway.
Once you've found your haven you need to know whether to stay or not to stay, and you can tell almost imidetly. You need to look at all openings in the building first. What are they, where are they? Windows and doors are most common and can be a real problem. Do not underestmate your enemy's strength. Zombies don't feel pain and so they can smash through almost anything. Wood and glass are your weak points. you should find a way to block those holes. Cover windows and doors and use supports as well. If possible baracade inside and outside the window. The best thing to use would be a metal slab or some type of large flat metal that could be welded or bulted to the wall. Next best thing to use is brick or wood. Wood, while the most available is the weekest. A zombey could punch right through it. It also surcums to wear and tear fastest and needs to be watched and repaired often. (same goes for other holes)
Note: Use what you have. Always a good thing to keep in mind. If you need to make a door or window stronger take the door off the fridge and use that. Use the brick of a fire place, pull it up and move it.
Note: Always carry some tools. Ducktape, screwdriver, knife, ect. (small and light weight)
