Walther P99Model: Walther P99
The P99 is the second handgun to grace the silver screen as the famous "Bond Gun", replacing James Bond's PPK halfway through Tomorrow Never Dies in the mid-90s. The P99 is designed for security forces, police, and the civilian shooting market as a replacement for the P5 and P88. The P99 is a very high quality handgun with polymer frame and steel slide. There are 3 interchangeable backstraps to accommodate various hand sizes and grip styles. Uniquely for a handgun, it has a decocker but no manual safety.

The P99AS (Anti Stress) has a unique trigger system for changing trigger pull at different points of firing. The P99DAO is a double-action only variant. The P99QA (Quick Action) has a Glock-style trigger system and striker firing replacing the hammer. The P99, AS, and DAO can all be found in compact modes. There's also several limited edition versions, like the MI-6 to market it based on the Bond appeal and the P99 TA with an accessory rail and ambidextrous controls. In a joint venture with Walther, Smith & Wesson produces their own copy, the SW99, which can be found in both 9mm and .45 ACP.
