Gun Broker will have most anything availible. US legal though. So no autos. I also heard in parts of Southern Africa you can pick up a Soviet AK47 and two sticks of ammo for $8 USD. Hard part is getting it here. heh heh.

In uganda and other 3rd world countries you can pick up ak-47's for about 8 euros so it would be a good idea to move to uganda 8D

You can purchase a Mossburg 500 12 gauge 8 round pump at most gun shops for $250. 12 gauge ammo. is cheep and easy to find. If your interested in a good cheep pistols theres the jennings 9 (9 mm. with 2 - 13 round mags.), for $160, or the High Point in ( 9mm., .40, or .45), for around $150. These pistols are not the greatest but they will work . You can also get several .22 rifles for $100 and up.

Got my M1938 Mosin for $70 and a 350round spam can for $30 at the good old bill goodman's gun and knife show. It was a good buy, but if we are talking surplus rifles check out a Lee Enfield Mk I, II, or III .303cal. I got mine for $200, it is one of the smoothes bolt action surplus WWII weapons i have ever fired, and its deadly accurate...even at great distances with just the iron sights. The best part is unlike the german's K98 and the russians mosin varriants whos internal magazine can hold 5 rounds the Enfield can not only hold 10 rounds but the magazine can be detached for quicker reloads in a combat situation. One of the only problems i have run into is not the availability of the .303 round but the price. Non wholesale its about $11 to $13 for a box of 20...but if you can find the stuff surplus go for it cause its a damn fine gun!

You can get surplus rifles on the cheap, especially Mosin-Nagants as there are tons of them on the market for $80 or less. Then you can get a can of surplus ammo (300ish rounds) for about $40.
I'll see if i can find a another post i wrote about surplus and add it to the page.
