Weapons Uk
Back to UK Section
| Rounders bat | Cricket Bat What most British house holds have if they are fans. Solid, heavy to carry packs a punch. Easy to buy. |
| Air rifle Some people will have an air rifle, not as effective as a real gun but can cause damage and is cheaper than a real gun. Real rifles are also available in the UK for hunting. | Shotgun Shotgun, May have if you go shooting or just for security . Takes two shells at a time but if you have pump action up to 8 shells, close quarters weapon. |
| Hammer Hammer, In the other 'Weapons page' the hammer is rubbish I disagree. Surely this could do damage I would want to be tapped by it let alone cracked on the head a few blows to the head should do it. | Axe Everyone has a axe somewhere a hand axe at least! don't expect to have one hit kill o this 3-4 hacks should do if not repeat until head lobed off. |
| Chainsaw Noisy, needs petrol, heavy. Chainsaws are a big no,no sure it looks killer but this weapon is not useful! | Butcher knife Well if you don't have a decent weapon, this will do nicely looks cool and delivers a small punch good to have at all times. |
| Bow Bow good for long range very powerful and effective. Crossbows are also available. | Air handgun Good for close quarters. |
| Nail gun Nail gun. Good for really close quarters quite powerful | Cadet centres also use the L98, a training version of the SA80 for Cadets that is a straight pull magazine feeder (no temptation to go full-auto). If you know of an Army barracks or Cadet centre you can get your hands on one of these. Despite a bad record in the past, the L85A2 is a massive improvemnet and when properly maintained can be fairly reliable. Variants include L85 LSW (Light Support Weapon) and the L22A1 carbine (roughly the size of an SMG) |

I own a few air guns and would like to say that I feel confident that they could defend my life from Zack!
I have a standard .177 B2 air rifle, decent power, very cheap and accurate enough to hit (and damage) zeds head from 25 metres (50 metres if you have a scope). I have a .22 Umarex 850 air-magnum. I LOVE this rifle. it's accurate, and when fitted with a scope, you can get some powerful shots up to 75 metres with a grouping of around 3 inches! Lastly, I own the Anics Skif A-3000 Co2 Pistol. It has a 28 shot magazine, fires .177 pellets and is semi-automatic. so you can crack off a whole clip in 10 seconds! At distances of 5-25 metres you could drop zed dead on the floor. nothing is gonna survive 28 pellets in the face! So to all the folks in the USA, you may have some crazy-ass weapons, but we Brits can hold our own with whatever we ahve on hand! |

you do realise that it's easier to find a baseball bat or cricket bat in this country than it is to find a rounders bat?!?!
I'd also like to point out that we can invent things in seconds, much like the A-Team or this MacGuiver chap that I hear about so often... In the UK, out most valuable weapon is the Shed! throw us in a garden shed fro an hour and we'll come out with a weapon capable of killing 10 zombies with the puch of a button! 90% of all the great things in life were invented by A Briton in a shed! |

The Cadet GP Rifle is not bolt operated, but is cocked with a cocking handle which is much larger than the standard SA 80. It however is just as good as an SA80, packing the same punch on it's single shot rate of fire.
Also in Cadet centers Light Support Weapons are kept which are like the support weapon of the SA80, so this would be useful in dispatching Zombies. They also keep .22 rifles in those places with infinite rounds of ammunition which should be something taken into consideration. |
