What does a real zombie look like...
Biohazardouswithin:
"A Real Zombie."
The fresh zombie will likely be an average human being, changed only in that his/her skin will be more pale, and their movements slightly more stiff with a lack of coordination or serious drive. I would imagine that they move like a mindless robot, following only the basic functions. They will likely have an injury, or be partially devoured and/or missing key elements (excluding the head) of their human-like appearance. They will also be the fastest moving compared to all the others.
The aged zombie (6 ms. - 2 yrs) is going to be degraded to a high level, with hunks of meat falling from, or gone from portions of the body where broken skin exists, and other areas beginning to rot through the flesh. If the zombie has had high contact with humans, and devoured much, there will be rotten flesh protruding from an exploded belly, and the region used in excreting waste.
The elder zombie (2 yrs - On) is likely to be majorly degraded and rotten. Primarily muscle structure, and a horrible stench that will permeate. The stomach will have likely entire degraded all around the necessary muscle structure necessary to stand somewhat erect, and some will slouch, while others can only crawl. The legs will have buckled, or in the process of buckling. There will be remnants, but little actual facial structure. There will be little humanity left to these creatures at all. Movement will be minimal, if existent beyond this point.
Zyzzogeton:
OK, so my last version of a zombie was criticized because it would "take to long". So Here is my revised version
Here is a cut out of what the virus would look like:

Note that I did not include features needed to survive as a virus, I just outlined the parts needed to make a zombie. It does have basic virus parts, just not shown here.
Ok so this is how it works:
Finally you have your zombie. Please note that the zombie does need air to survive. It also needs food, but now it eats humans. If it can not find food it will eat itself. It also CAN swim and it CAN run.
It will be pale because zombies hunt at night but they CAN hunt in the day if they are being starved to death. Since the zombie destroys it's brain's thinking organs, the subject would be pronounced dead. Although they are not actually dead, scientist would call it dead because it has destroyed the part that makes them human. They can be cured but they will not be able to think for themselves and would not remember anything.
Thanks for reading!
I have created my own little version of a zombie, here is how it works...
The person would be infected just as usual. The difference is that the person would turn more slowly, because nature doesn't do things instantly.
Now lets suppose where the virus for a moment...
We would want to be able to out-travel the humans, so lets take away our need for food. We need to fuel ourselves by something so instead of eating food we will take the humans already processed fuel(AKA were going to suck their blood). This means we can do the same for animals to. We also eliminated our need for oxygen. So we take away the lungs.
We are going to need a secondary source of food in case we don't see humans for a while. So instead of destroying the lungs we close of the air tunnel and use the air sacks as incubators for chlorophyll. We can now inject it into our blood stream and transfer it to our skin. We now can be powered by sun. We are also green now.
We don't want to feel pain so that we can travel longer and battle longer. We don't need feelings either, our ultimate goal is to spread anyways so who cares if we die. We can now turn parts of our brain into house holds to control our zombie instincts. We need to control The persons movement though so lets convert there cranium.
Now so far, we have a zombie that can be fueled by combat and take advantage of the supernatural powers that we all have, we just don't use them until we need to. Zombies use them all the time because they don't have a sense of survival.
Anyways, we hunt at night s why do we need eyes? Pop those out. Instead we want to have a better sense of smell, we destroyed the lungs so we can just convert our saliva glands into air sacks. We need to spread our virus, so lets convert the remaining saliva glands into virus breeding grounds. We need to make the humans bleed to inject the virus, so lets but acid into our spit and sharpen our teeth.
Conclusion:
Our zombie is basically a mutated human that can survive in any condition that will not die unless it is overwelmed or destroyed in combat. It has super human strength and speed but is as stupid as a rock. all it knows how to do is kill and feed itself.
More to come...

Ok so this is how it works:
- It is injected into the blood stream
- It travels to the brain's main artery
- It attaches itself to the wall of the artery
- It injects the "babies" and the "custom braincells"
- The babies destroy all of the unneeded parts(The parts that make you think) and transfer energy to places like your ears and nose(so you can smell and hear better)
- The custom braincells controls your "new sense" that makes you run off of human flesh
- The virus then detaches itself and gos to the mouth where it reproduces and injects it's "offspring" into saliva glands
Finally you have your zombie. Please note that the zombie does need air to survive. It also needs food, but now it eats humans. If it can not find food it will eat itself. It also CAN swim and it CAN run.

you are basicly making them mutate beyond any point the human body could for thousands of years is it possible yes but it would still take forever to happen by the time it was done either zombies would be gone or we would be
