What weapons are you taking
What weapons are you taking? Well we know when Z-day rolls around only the most ready and prepared will survive and those with sheer luck. When Z-day happens what are you going to take as weapons? Are you going to take every zed in Hand to Hand, use a knife, or blow there brains all over the streets with a shotgun. What ever you take its gotta have some goods kinks to it, otherwise your not going to be living long. This page is for us to share and gather info on guns and weapons. ( NOTE, if i see any flaming of another's idea your entry will be removed and if its a thread it will be removed)

My weapons will be:
SKS: reliable, cheap, strong wood (in case a good butt to face is needed), accurate, carry about 12 strippers with me.
Winchester 1300 ranger compact: 24in barrel, very short stroke distance, speed pump, 9+1 mag cap with extension, 12ga, 10 rounds in under 3-4 seconds with a pump is really good. Will carry about 100 rounds for it.
Glock .45: itsa glock, the ak of the pistol world, reliable, high mag cap.

I will have several guns at my disposal but the 4 most used and 4 which mult of my group have is an
P-90, AK47, HK MP5, and 22glock. Reason for these is there light weight and portable plus check the stats below
FN P-90
A lightweight high power personal defensive weapon( Used for close range combat)
Weight is about 6-7pounds or 3kg's loaded
Clip capacity is about 50rounds per clip( Gun can use other small caliber rounds if fitted )
Rate of Fire is an amazing 900rounds per min
Effective Range is about 450-500feet or 150meters
I have access to 1 of this gun
AK47
A high power offensive weapon with incredible stopping power
Weight is about 10pounds unloaded or 5kg's
Clip capacity ranges any where from 30-50rounds per banana clip( depends on caliber of rounds used )
Rate of Fire is about 600rounds per min
Effective Range is about 300-1500feet or 100-500meters
I have access to 1 of this gun
HK MP5
The lightest and most portable of the guns use but lacks high stopping power
Weight is 7pounds when fully loaded or 3kg's loaded
Clip capacity ranges from 30-40 rounds depending on clip used
Rate of Fire is the second highest with 800 rounds per min
Effective Range is about 300-500 feet or 100-175meters
I have access about 2or 3of this gun
22glock
A handgun made for light portable transportation also delivers great stopping power
(tats for this gun are hard to gather)
I have access to 7 or 8 of this gun

A Large Red Crowbar
I have a large red crowbar in my basement accompanied by other crowbars but I prefer the large red one because in the even I need to signal someone I will have an effective way of communication. It will likely be my primary or secondary weapon as I am afraid of using ammo. It may be my downfall but I will be hard to overcome.
A 22. Rimfire Rifle
I will likely steal a 22. rifle from my Dad's safe. I will then take the strap and extra ammunition. I own a Jacket Type thing that has a ton of pockets and I will put all the ammo, a cleaning kit, 2 sights and a handkerchief for when I need to rest my gun on something to balance it. It will have 1 of my 3 scopes attached too. My second best one because I will save my best for when I am sniping.
45ACP, Pistol
Not sure of the make or model. I have only seen it 2 in my whole life but I know how to operate it and my Dad has a whole box of ammo which I will take with me. It will be holstered most of the time and I will not use it unless the zed's are 5 feet from me.

Alicestar:
FN P-90) This weapon is made for Closed Quarters Combat. it comes with 30-50rnd mags and is chambered in the new 5.7x28 NATO personal defense round.
Colt M-4 variant) This weapon was designed for combat in harsh environments just as the AK-47 was 61 years ago. the M-4 has a modular design allowing you to mount anything from a simple flashlight to a 40mm M-203 grenade launcher. this weapon has been chambered to fit the NATO 5.56 (223) but has sister models that chamber the .458 SOCOM, and the .50cal Beowulf as well as the standard 7.62x39 used by the AK-47.
Colt model 1911) This weapon was designed for the United States Armed forces in 1890 by John M. Browning.
it was designed to replace the .38 "long" colt because of its problems stopping Moro gorillas during the Philippines-American war(wikipedia info) it has effectively been used in every U.S. campaign since then. although much more durable pistols have been designed since then the Colt M-1911 has remained a favorite among Military forces, SWAT teams, Police, and private owners because the M-1911 is one of very few firearms that can be stripped completely down to the frame without any tools besides the weapons pieces themselves.
ASP expendable 24in baton) the ASP baton was designed for Police officers who wanted a small, compact solution to the well known "nightstick" the answer was A tempered steel, telescoping baton able to transfer 2,000 lbs of force to ball at the end with a lite swing. although designed as a self defense weapon the ASP is now used in several different Marshal Arts and is known to some as the "Bone Crusher". the asp baton was almost outlawed from use after the Rodney King Incident in California in the early 1980's.

For now, I have a Hi-Point 995 carbine manufactured by the BeeMiller Corporation. It fires a 9mm pistol round from a ten round clip that loads into the pistol grip. Shoots well to 100 yards with standard sights. Pretty dependable. Excellent firearm for the $200-ish price. Not as ergonomic as one would hope for, but it'll get the job done.

Reliability and silence is everything. I don't want to attract unwanted attention to myself so i would have only weapons that i can silence and i don't want a weapon that will break down and jam on me a lot. quality goes a long way. choosing two calibers that are very widely used means i will always be able to find some where or on someone. - 5.56 NATO Barrel Configuration
- Allows use of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington cartridges without damage to the Gun
- 37 Manufacturers, Logic dictates one of these ain't gonna be to hard to find
- Varying Receivers - Due to their easily interchangeable innards, AR-15's are ideal for being able to mix in aftermarket receivers quickly and easily, allowing one gun to make use of many different cartridges. I myself would have at least two different receivers, including:
- .22 Long Rifle - .22 ammunition is very small and very commonly used, allowing someone to find and carry large quantities of ammunition with the same amount of weight for smaller quantities of large caliber ammunition. A .22 cartridge lacks penetration power, oddly this is a good thing because the round is able to go through one side but not the other. Instead, the bullet ricochets off the 2nd layer of bone and causes catastrophic brain damage, making it just as effective at killing zeds as a .30-06.
- .50 BMG - Overkill for a Zombie, although I wouldn't mind watching one of these enormous shells pop a zed's head like a zit. I would reserve this receiver for combat against smarter enemies and only for home defense use, instead of against zombie field combat. For instance, a group of marauders shows up at your doorstep in lightly or moderately armored vehicles. Although it is the biggest shell in existence, it makes up for that in variety, having many different variants of the original, including: Armor Piercing, Incendiary, Tracer, etc, etc.

I'm not a klutz, but mu coordination isn't that great, so short weapons that i can dump alot of brute strength into are what i am most comfortable with - Kuhkuri machete. a back up weapon and good tool. i say back up for fear of getting it stuck into a skull -trench knife. good back up weapon -.22 NEF r22 revolver decent pistol, not the best accuracy but easy to reload by hand -phoenix arms HP22a 22 rimfire pistol, good accuracy clips are difficult to load -Ruger 10/22 rifle, hand modified for fast fire and scop, along for foldable stock to make it more handy in tight quarters ----If u can't tell i like 22 rimfire, it's light, can be found everywhere, and i like ammo to match for simplicity sake. also it ay not be strong but it is not as -----loud as larger caliber weapons, also there is also the hope of it bouncing around when it makes it into the skull. I am hoping to add a Winchester 1300 Defender Pump-Action 12gauge Shotgun, but i am poor i have more improve weapons around the house, cheap swords, plus those black hardened plastic swords and bats you can get from cold steal, but they just don't have the density to crack a head.

When the **** hits the fan I'm gonna be carrying a Barret 416 carbine and a Mauser K98k, my side-arm a 1911 Colt. I have a large yet comfortable backpack for carrying all my supplies:food, ammo, medical supplies etc, etc. Of course 2 rifles may get in the way, but my Carbine has a collapsible stock which will cut down on that. I think i'll be ok when Z-day rolls around.
I'll probably use either a machete or an army issue collapsible shovel. |

well i live in a good area when it comes to weapons.i will take a romainian svd marksman rifle, a colt 1911 or a hk pistol of some type, a mp5(just maybe i can get a mp7, but i dought it) a ak-47 or 101 with a folding stock. my dream guns would be a l85a2 with a susat mounted, a russian aps(underwater firearm), a g36E, and a l96 artic warfare sniper rifle. well i live close to a weapons firearm dealer and target world(its a place where NRA members fire their weapons) at target world they had a desert eagle(which i would NEVER TAKE), ar15's and ak's semi auto, uzi's, a variety of pump action and semi auto shot guns. a variety of semi auto and revolver handguns. and at the dealers place he sell tactical millitary grade shotguns, muskets(which are kinda useless), m1 carbines(which i got a chance to hold, very nice), break action shotguns, pistols both single action or semi's, and even m1 garands refurbished. so im good when it comes to firearms.
