...We all talk about WHAT we will do on Z-Day, but WHEN do people predict for the infected to rise?

It may have already started, or it may have already concluded. If you look "zombie attack" on YouTube, I bet you will find 500+ hits. I am on DEFCON 5. Every time I hear a siren, or a suspicious noise, I get worried. I already even have a plan.

Cormacr9: No one knows. It could happen when ever. Today, tomorrow maybe even never. I personal think about 20 to 50 years but you can't be sure.

SuperDarkHamster: I expect the uprise in about 10-20 years, I think that until that time nanobots will be created and they will be smart enough to keep a dead human alive enough time to spread and make more zeds. Or maybe a super smart parasite will kill us all who knows....
Cylon1994:A little bit longer than 10-20 years. Maybe around 30 because it will take enough time for not only the technology to advance but also for people to continually use it and even then we will be safe with whatever it is. It will take some time before our first accident and even then there will be precautions. My money is on a virus created by man but that's for a different page.
Thrawn5: I would say that it will be at least 10 years (if it even happens in our lifetime), but you never know, that is why this site is here.
roxas33: Zombies are at least 100-300 years away in my opinion. What i see in the near future is not zombies but a virus that makes people act and appear like zombies but physically alive.

They will have a vaccine for the "Essential People". Some few lucky "non-essential people" will survive, but will be quickly eliminated as a potential threat. In a couple a years the Earth will be under a ruling elite dedicated to current liberal ideology, i.e. there are two kinds of people the Elite and their servants.
IFB254- My guess is sometime in the near future. Genetic engineering is reaching its zenith, as well as viral mutations from Asia and Africa. Keep on the lookout for news reports from Africa similar to the one from "NotLD"
KristoferStorm: Well, I think that anytime in the New Year's. I mean, everyone thought Y2K was going to happen. Well, it didn't. So Z-Day could be a 50/50 thing ya know. 50% chance of it happens or 50% it doesn't. Anyway, I'm sticking to my prediction. December 31, 2021 at Midnight.

Never. But vigilance is the reason why- We are vigilant- Therefore it will never happen (cause children only start acting up when they think the parents guards are down).
Mr.Xeight:If the virus makes us wake up and know only how to eat, we'll be dead in a couple of minutes unless we have care takers and an oxygen tank.

Aslong as evolution/mutation takes place it could happen, I think if it ever does happen, it'll be from a mutated rabies virus or something like that. A new disease!

I think that if it does happen that it will be in 2012 ya i am saying that because thats when the mayan calendar stops but i really don't have any other guess besides a mutated form of rabies or drug gone bad. (maybe the drug will be released to the public in 2012????)

Aarondevil,the only reason you put that was because the Maya chart stops on that day. I don't think a zombie apocalypse will happen that day, but I'll keep my guard up. I expect a meteor to hit Earth.
