Why are Zombies Violent
I would like to hear other opinions on why Zombies are so Violent. If this page conflicts with another in the sense that we cover the same topic (i searched) then please send me a message.
Cylon1994 -
I have 2 theories. The first is that when the Dead Rise they lose they're advanced motor functions, Brain Functions, Etc and so why not their Social Functions. I believe the most basic Human Instinct is to attack and kill. This is quite sad but that is what Cavemen did and they were first on Earth.
My second theory is that when you are bitten your mind carries over thoughts. But the virus blocks the good thoughts and let's the bad, violent ones through. This would allow for a mad Zombie.
Starwars_zombie:
I think its sorda like rabies. It causes nocturnal activity, which prevents sleep most of time(this could make someone go crazy) and it causes hallucinations(which could also make someone go mad and crazy). This would make you want to attack poeple(biting included) and destroy things to get rid of stress and rage.

I sorta agree with Cylon1994. I think that a zombie is probably made violent by an 'attack' instinct. Most animals will attack when threatened or hungry, why not skin-jobs? It could be sorta like in the I Am Legend special features, how that infected girl is infected and starts seeing humans as a thread/food source. It sorta makes sense.

I have seen no mention of the Zuvembie. The zombie-like Zuvembie has the power to control her victims. She places them in a dream-state then commands them. They have a hatered for all living people, will kill them and eat their flesh and drink their blood. Can heal and exist until killed by steel. Intelligent and as fast as a person.
karaz: ok my theroy on zombies agression is that the virus or watever will cause the dead to rise will eather cause a madden state with only the i dea of eating in mind or cause the body to move to feed it (this only applies if it is a parasite that is in the brain)
