Sgt.Derek Phoenix of the 321st Battalion of the American Expeditionary Force was sent to El Alamein,Egypt to engage the rebels in combat.In the middle of battle,an outbreak was spread throughout the world,turning infected ones into the living dead.Derek's squad has been wiped out by the infected ones,Derek had to run away and he eventually reached the desert.Now,Derek is stationed on a small shanty with limited resources and the infected roaming around the desert.



Derek was inside the shanty,with only a jar of clean water,ten rations,and some med kits.He is armed with his special issued HK 416 with six magazines left,a M1911A1 .45 with five magazines left,A Sawed-Off Shotgun with 54 shells,and a machete. He tried peeking outside the window,he saw the zombies walking around the desert,not knowing how they reached there.Derek surveyed the map of El Alamein,he marked the location of the shanty,there was a nearby Military Depot near the mountains.It was 20 miles away from the shanty.He grabbed his gear and supplies and set out for the depot.He carefully opened the door going out.One of the zombies was alerted and he called in the rest of the horde,they all ran to Derek,but he went back in the shanty and locked the door.He backed out a bit and the window just broke,the zombies broke the window and they tried grabbing him.Derek loaded his HK 416 and shot them,as the shootout continues,more of the zombies came wave after wave.Derek stepped on a brittle ground,he grabbed his Sawed-Off shotgun and shot the area.There was a secret passage underground,the zombies grabbed his weapons,only his pistol was left,Derek went down using a ladder and he barricaded the top with a box.Derek wore his night vision goggles and turned on the flashlight on his Helmet,as he was walking down the pathway,he saw a Spetsnaz weapon crate and opened it.There were Tactical AK47s,PKMs,USP.45s,UZIs,and a couple of RPG-7s

Somebody pointed a gun on Derek's head and said "You've come to the wrong place,my friend,are you a soldier of Oximus facilities?".

Derek tried to grab the man's hand but he failed to,Derek was taken down by force and the man pointed the gun to him again and said "You are one feisty bastard,taking me down will be wrong,answer my question and everything will be in good shape,lad."

Derek raised his hands while lying down and said "I'm not from Oximus facilities,I'm from the AEF."

"Hmmmm...You sound familiar,are you Sgt.Derek Phoenix of the 321st Battalion?" the man said.

Derek nodded and said "How'd you know my name?I mean,I just met you."

The man laughed and said "You like to discover stuff eh?Hmm,your unit was killed in the mission in El Alamein,and you are the only one left?One of your men exiled during the massacre at the plagued town.I witnessed the massacre but I can't help,for there are too many of the infected ones,lad."

Derek can't remember what happened after the massacre,"It's okay with me...the past is past." he said.


The man pulled Derek up and said "My name is Dmitri Ivanovich,I'm from the Spetsnaz,I've been underground for weeks since my whole team got separated from an ambush at Point 32,if you have plans getting out of this **** hole,so am I."


Derek said "You know where?I mean our drop off point at the military base is 4000 miles away.We'd be lucky if we find any transportation though."



Dmitri said "Just follow me and grab whatever I have in this refuge."



Derek grabbed the AK47 and attached the Modifications.Dmitri brought a WWII German Motorcycle with an MG42 on the sidecar to transport some of the supplies.Derek brought some of the supplies to the sidecar and both of them rolled out.
