The ZSDW now has an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel!

Instructions:
1. Enter your preferred name in the "Nickname" box.
2. Enter "#ZSDW" in the "Channels" box.
3. Enter the Captcha box information as shown.
4. Click "connect" and let it load.
5. Enjoy the chat!

For further instructions regarding creation of permanent account names for the IRC ask any of the channel admins. They will have an @ sign in front of their name.

Rules:
  • The IRC is not the ZSDW. Major trolls will probably be banned on a permanent basis, but temporary bans do not cross over, and problems on the IRC should not be brought up with the ZSDW staff in general.
  • If something happens that causes issues or controversy, ask Marsden or John_234, either on the chat or via PM on the ZSDW. They make final decisions on permanent or long-running bans, changes in rules the like. If they are not available, try one of the permanent OPs.
  • The permanent OPs are John_234, Marsden, Drewblet (YosemiteSam), TresDia (ThreeDay, TDA, TDJakes), PaganArcher (Asagrim, Aedian), Jdi35 (Jdikitty), and SasquatchJim (Riley, Generic movie-related monikers, and/or Taylor Swift references.) They can kick you, mute you, ban you (temporarily, less than 12 hours) and change topics at their discretion.
  • Temporary OPs may ban in case of serious trolls spamming the chat, or users causing fights, but any such things have to be reviewed within a day. Moderators from the site, unless made into permanent OPs basically fall under same rules.
  • There is no content ruling on the IRC specifically, but use common sense. If you act like an ass, you may be kicked or banned for a few hours.
