basically it is PVC pipes taped together with an explosive backend. you light the fuse and the gunpowder explodes like a in a cannon, except the ammo is a screwdriver. the launcher should be aimed at head. i also say the infection is coming soon. but you need at least 2 to 3 PVC pipes.

Taking a page oout of Half-Life 2, Get an internal combustion engine (functioning) and a large piece of steel (7+ feet long, 1 ft wide, 3 inches thick?). Mark the piece of steel in the middle. Hone down one side of the metal on one half until it can cut. Repeat on the opposite side on the the other half of the steel. Then, tap a hole into the middle of the steel and attach it to where the engine's flywheel usually is. Stand the motor up with the steel piece on top & firmly bolted to the crankshaft. Get a small canister to use as a gas tank and preferably a remote starter. When the zombies draw near, start the engine and you've have a double sided, 1,000 rpm sword/killing machine. Sharpen the blades when needed, and if they crack, just sharpen the dull sides and flip the blade over.

Okay, I've recently gotten an idea that requires 5 main things; a large room with an attic-like space ( this will be called the minespace), lots of strong metal (or just about anything, really), a welding torch, a "thermal lance, and a LOT of "land mines." Here's how it would work: the general opinion about mines are that you have to step on or run over them to set 'em off. However, I believe that mines can be set off by putting enough pressure on any part of them; most others think that you must do this on the top of the mine.
Ok, let's set it up! First, you must make 2 separate enclosures; one for the operator, and one for the mines. You WILL need some of the metal for the construction. The Op. enclosure should be on one side and close to the roof. The mine enclosure needs 2 walls and NO roof, for reloading purposes. Next, weld the floors of both together, BUT don't weld the floor past the Op. enclosure to the walls and leave the end sticking out. Finally,put the mines inside the minespace, but DO NOT BLOW THEM UP! When zeds swarm all of the room, use the lance to cut off the welded section of the minespace. What will this do, you will ask? Simple. The falling "floor" will flatten a fraction of the zombies, and when the mines come down, it's a DISCO INFERNO!

i have an idea that's very simple it's a regular bike with pegs on the back wheels and a wagon being pulled behind the pegs are for a passenger to shoot from the wagon is for a mounted or tripod/bipod sitting gun the idea is after the design of the warthog vehicle from Halo the basic idea is a vehicle room for 3 people driver passenger and gunner don't ask me where to get the mounted or tripod/bipod gun it's just an idea

this would be really good if it were a little smaller and was equipped with a webcam that broadcast on a WI-FI connection(or something) then you could send it into buildings and dark places to survey the place before entering. dont want to needlessly find ourselves surrounded right?

I know that these ideas aren't as high tech as some of the above, but here goes:
The Bunge Pit: Simply, a hole deep enough that a Z lured into it could not get out. The walls should be dug in a conical nature with the narrower end at the top. Also handy for capturing small animals to eat should you be forced to it. After capturing a Z (or a few depending on trap width and depth), a flammable substance and some fire can be dropped in to clean the trap for re-use. The Pungi Pit: A Bunge Pit with a twist! Sharpened stakes (or similar) line the bottom and the victim (hopefully a Z and not a comrade) is impaled upon impact. Just a thought I had now, but this could give a very comical Mortal Kombat (the movie) type ending to a Z's unlife. if the stakes at the bottom are not going to burn up, the same fire trick can be used to clean the trap for re-use. The Bear Trap: While non-lethal to Zs (unless they put their head in for some reason), this could serve to hinder their movement with it's weight or by removing the limb completely. Assuming that it will not amputate the limb, this should be chained to a wall/tree/street lamp/etc. Then later, if you are in the same area, you can safely kill the Z and reset the trap for another. The Figure 4 Deadfall: Something very heavy is propped up at one end by something that can be moved away or broken either manually or by trigger. Said heavy things falls on target Z. Said Z becomes a paste under a heavy thing.

If there was a large group in one circle shape, i would throw a propane tank from a grill down and shoot it.
I have a bowling pin so that could bash some heads. Screwdrivers Glass bottles Kitchen knives Here's a idea, only if you have a pull net. You colud catch it's head then have your buddy sneak up and decapitate it.

take a super soaker, fill it with gas, tape a Zippo and the end of the gun and have fun. Please Note : I havent tried it yet and the heat may melt the plastic.

Simple, effective, cheap, versatile: go to your local home improvement center or lumbar yard, get a replacement hoe handle and some short lengths of 3/8 rebar(about 18 inches is common. Sharpen on end of rebar and insert in hole in end of handle. Keep extra lengths for spares.
You have a 5 foot long non-slip walking stick/staff/spear with a disposable, replaceable tip, can also use for picking up trash, poking in holes, light prying, etc. To use on zombies, insert tip in skull fully and stir, withdraw. If the tip stays, insert spare. Repeat as necessary.

I know that all we know about zombies is from theories, movies, books, and games, but all these things point to one thing most of the time..... you can only kill a zombie by destroying the brain. So catching zombies on fire with a flame thrower would not work. All it would create would be a stumbling ball of fire. I know that sooner or later the fire would destroy the brain, but this could take a while and the zombie would spread fire around until it finally did fall apart. Save your fire for burning the zombies after you have destroyed the brain.

you should place snake-skin over the handle. it's smooth one way, and course the other way, so you won't drop your weapon. i have snake-skin handles on my machetes.

I have alot of experience in fabrication. im a fitter and turner by trade and love to make bits and pieces as a hobby.
If you have any plans for a weapon and you want to see it brought to life to life, send it my way and ill get right on it and post it on this page. Things that can be made on a lathe are prefered, thats my specialty, and will be made quicker.
