Fido : Picks up where Shaun of the Dead left off....
Timmy Robinson's best friend in the whole wide world is a six-foot tall rotting zombie named Fido. But when FIDO eats the next-door neighbor, Mom and Dad hit the roof, and Timmy has to go to the ends of the earth to keep Fido a part of the family. A boy-and-his-dog movie for grown ups, "FIDO" will rip your heart out.

28 Weeks Later : The "rage" virus has mutated and everyone's moving back to jolly ole England. It is a human made virus.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shaun of the Dead :A group of people fights off zombies (in England again... What is it about that place???)

The South Will Rise Again - Rednecks and zombies. 'Nuff said. They need some donation love to finish it.
Remember Night of the Comet - a true silly zombie sci-fi classic
- I know that this isn't a movie, but if anyone is into video games, and they haven't played Resident Evil 4, then you must!! I realize that, just like in 28 Days Later (and 28 Weeks Later), the enemies in Rez 4 aren't actually zombies.... but damn if they aren't as creepy! I recommend playing this game alone, in the dark, with surround sound (if avail).... and man, you won't sleep for a while. I could only play the game for a couple of hours at a time, before I freaked myself out - "What was that noise? Did I just see something move in the shadows?" Yes, I highly recommend this game, and eagerly await Rez 5!

Here is a blended zombie meme Shuan of the Dead set to Jonathan Coultons "Re: Your Brains
I think we are forgetting some very good zombie movies out there. Like the original Night Of The Living Dead. Classic. Also Dawn of the dead the original and the remake. Fast zombies are some scary thoughts lol.
Its good to look at the old black and white zombie movies and the ones that are pre hollywood dramatization cause the old ones actually show people surviving with normal objects, weapons, and situations that we would have at our disposal if such an attack occured. EnriqueB

Another classic zombie movie is The Last Man on Earth, starring Vincent Price. It shows the beginning of the ourbreak followed by the frantic efforts of government officials trying to contain the spread. Price is a doctor researching the solanum virus and attempting to cure it. He is unaffected, having been attacked by a vampire bat years before (cheesy, yes, but suspended disbelief is a good thing). Price's family die, one by one, as does everyone else in the city, until only Price is left. Disposing of the bodies by day as they lie dormant. Is he the last man on earth? Or is there hope for the human race?

Alicestar:
let us never forget the resident evil trillogy, i think a good number of outstanding survival tactics are put to the test in these movies and with all of them they teach you to keep your mind open to the unknown and prepare for the worst possable situation.
That should be enough to kee you busy a while. If you want more let me know.
They are going to remake day of dead, and it is scheduled for release in 2008, and should be worth checking out. it contains interesting examples of the effect of the enourmous levels of stress produced in an apocaliptic situtation, and combat between two very different survivor groups. monkeyfacedzombie
