Back in 1979 or 1980 I’m not really sure the exact year, My parents took us to the drive-in theater, “Dawn of the Dead” was playing, needless to say that I was scared to death I was only ten or eleven years old, When we got home everybody was off to bed, I started crying and begged my parents to let me sleep in their bed but my old man wouldn’t have it, That night I had a nightmare reliving the movie over and over, to the point that I would wake up crying and my father would scold me and tell me to go back to sleep. Ever since that time I have had these nightmares several times a year, always reliving the movie over and over, sometimes the scene will change where me and a group of friends start out at the mall, than it changes into high school, work, home etc. And every time I wake up in a cold sweat, terrified of the dream to the point where I actually fear going outside before sunrise or after dark, When the remake of “Dawn of the Dead” came out in 2004, I tried to get over it by watching it (kind of like facing your fears) but there is still something deep inside me that fears this movie(s). Now the Zombies in my nightmares run which makes it that much scarier.

it seems like my only nightmares are filled with zombies. this morning I dreamt me and this random Asian guy were running through this house to try to get to safety. We locked ourselves in his bathroom and waited while we could hear people screaming, running, and panicking.. one after another zombie would come to the door and try to get in. I had one where it kept sticking his hand under the door and grabbing so I took a antenna off a radio that was in the bathroom and stabbed right through his hand with it and just found anything else I could to get it to go away. As me and this kid are sitting in his bathtub, all the sudden he tells me that hes having his housekeepers come to clean his bathroom and that we need to open the door. (I just got let go from my cleaning job, weird...) and I went along with it but told him that I would clean his bathroom instead. (?) Anyway, Im down by the door and theres a piece of mirror or reflective glass or something and all I see is an eye meet mine. A zombie started grabbing under the door again and I took a HORSE WHIP (?!?!) that i found behind a cabinet and started whipping around. When I get the zombie to leave, i look under the door and see a lot of people running like i'm in the hotel. I thought it would be a good idea to get out of the bathroom so i took the whip and watched till I had an opportunity to open the door. as soon as I do I look down and theres this BABY who's standing up holding this lady's hand and in the midst of everyone screaming bloody murder and running the baby has almost... white eyes..and was like almost yelling ..ugh idk. Then I woke up. I cant even explain the zombie dreams I have...they are the only kind of nightmares i have...

Ok, so pretty much every night since I have had my daughter I have zombie nightmares. I had them before her but they were maybe once a week. Now I find myself in the day sometimes making escape plans. Like when I take her on walks through the park and stuff like that.. The dreams are pretty much the same there is an outbreak and my husband is stuck on base. They won't let him leave cause they need everyone to shoot. I have to get me and my daughter to base which is 45 min away and some how we make it. The marine corps can't keep the zombies off base though so we end up in a fire watch tower .My husband and some others sawed off the ladder so that they couldn't climb up but there is also no way to get my daughter down safely if we need to leave. We are stuck there forever and some of the others start going crazy talking about leaving and fighting them off when there are thousands of zombies everywhere. I end up having to shoot, which I totally suck at. Just as I begin to shoot I wake up. Sometimes they last longer and I ended up dead; I get bit and kill myself to protect my husband and daughter, sometimes we survive in an empty world but either way is still scary as hell. On top of that my little sis decided to inform me that she believes in 2012 there will be a zombie apcolypse which only adds to my fear. It's horrible I'm so scared of them that I won't live near a cemetery and my heart races when we drive past them.

My dream sets on a school, mixed with a mall. It was far away for any neighborhood, well it was kinda like a college or university.I remember that there was a huge gate. i have this dream in a different occasions, the first time i escaped by riding a bike. The next time it was me in a mall and i was in a restaurant but my order was late and i saw in the corner bunch of people running away from something and i remembered that there was a Asian guy was holding a ruler and commanding things. I saw a mob of zombies chasing them i was running after them and his ruler fell, he said attack and i heard of people running , i tripped him once more and i got the ruler and i said while laying down and i said attack him.
the i saw a door with no handle so i said opened, the door opened.i saw a guy laying down, i thought he was dead, the television was small and also the room , it had 2 beds i figured out that he was not dead he was just lazy. So i kept telling him questions like how long have u been here and how did u found this place.He got tired of answering my questions so he showed me everything the food the entertainment the clothes,etc. I told him did u bring all this he said no it was all here when i survived he said hes been living there for 6 months and will not risk to day but the room look like an awesome hang out but l could not stand living there without my family or getting out. So i told him gather up the guns we are going to escape. the guy started to hear a girls voice and started to to open the door the handle was inside than out the door was normal and old. He opened the door and he figured out that it wasn't and tried to open the door so i tried to open it until he made her move to the side i opened it he was bitten in the leg, i saide sorry buddy. Later i got the things i needed and i noticed that he had money collected in a white box with hundreds,tens,and twenties ,coins. 6 moths later i tried to take everything from the room, i woke up |

This time i can tell it's years, i means years into the zombie apocalypse and my group of survivors are running dangerously low on bullets (they are all .22's) and i go out ALONe to search for ammo and im going through these like above ground catacombs and i find this woman who has a .22 assault rifle with ammo the only catch is i have to give her all of our .45 auto rounds, which i agree to, and i leave and head to my group with when i realize i was had and the gun is jammed beyond repair and i go back to kill the woman when i see the biggest horde that have ever been in my dreams. then i wake up i would really have liked to see how that one played out

I have ones where I am facing a huge horde, sometimes they are runners... Others where the zeds had all their memories and could still think and reason, anyways 9 outa 10 I get bit (the other 1 im the main course of a feeding frenzy) but the big deal is I can feel their teeth sinking into me! I feel bones being broke (sounds gross too) Is this predicting that I dont make it? I have a knack of having dreams come true. These are pretty repetitive too. Oh well, hopefully I go down being a hero, I'd rather not die in vain.

last night as i was going to bed i was trying to remember any of my other zombie dreams and this is what i got
this is from about a month ago: im running through a house heavely laden with gear i'm talkin armor assault rifle, etc. and i run straight to the refrigerator to get out all the meat and put it in the sink and run scalding hot water all over it and then add some anti freeze to the water and go to about four more houses and do the same then a i go into the last house i see this huge zombie that is like hulk big and he lifts up his arms as if to bash me in the head then i wake up i have had this dream about 3 times now the last time being about a month ago the only things that change are the kinds of poison i use, the number of houses, and whether i put the meat in the sink or the oven

last night i had one of my most vivid zed nightmares me and my grandfather were standing in front of a hardware store and we saw just a huge horde of zeds moving very quickly so we jumped in his truck (which was stalled out) and he got out his 22 (which he actually has) and he started shooting at them but it didnt even make a dent in the horde then we ran inside the hardware store and found out they sold firearms and he stole 2 shotguns and asked me to get 1 and we started loading up on ammo and we went outside and just started un loading on the zeds and we jumped in the truck (which miraculously works now) and drove off now and i woke up i have a zombie nightmare almost every night if not every other 3 nights does anyone know why?

i assume theres no more room in the page since people are posting threads so here it go's
I can see myself in a room, like i'm veiwing the room but i can see myself on a matress on the floor there was three 7-day vigil candles also on the floor next to me and they cast a flickering glow across the room then the other half of the matress came into view, a girl lay next to me, i reconize her but i won't say her name. i could also see my BOB and ( i assume) her suitcase leaning againist the wall and a desk (the only peice of furniture in the room) i could reconize my journal on the desk and my grampas side-by-side leaning against the desk with an old .50cal ammo can on the floor next to it. Next i saw myself get up i got dressed picked up the side-by-side and opened the ammo can it was fill with shot gun shells i loaded the gun and filled up an ammo belt that i was wearing i kissed the girl on the cheek and opened the door to the room, i then realized it was the main lodge at the summer camp i go to each year i must have been in one of up stairs apartments (it's were the councilers stay) i proceded down the stairs and saw two of my friends asleep one on a couch and one on a chair they must have fallen asleep on guard duty i draged them both up to their rooms and came back down stairs i tended the fire and sat down. my perspective changed to outside the lodge it was then i noticed it was winter but it was thundering and lightning out side (wheird right?) every time the lightning flashed i could see some figures getting closer and closer to the lodge just as one reached the barricaded door my perspective changed back inside i had fallen asleep on the couch then a loud THUD rang through the room i jumped up just as lightning flashed and the silhouette of a man could be seen though the window in the door i took aim and an arm broke though the window i fired and woke up at the same time.

ive had 2 zombie dreams i was about 4 at this time (maybe3) and i had just seen scoobie doo on zombie island(lame i no) and i was on the porch with fred. he asked if i wanted to come in yet and i said no ill be in later so he went insidei walked into the yard but as soon as he closed the door zombies came out of the ground and started walking twards me and i ran back to the porch and baged on the door and yelled for him to let me in but he didnt so they got on the porch and then i woke up yelling. the second dream i was in the same situation except with ed edd and eddy(wth) and they came out of the ground and we sacrificed double dee and ran inside with what seems to be roger rabbits wife (also wth) and run into the bedroom and locked the door and i got eaten(presumably, I woke up).

Has antone else had a dream in which they become a semi zombie. Like last week I dreamed I was in a mall doing a shotgun hero thing and I was saving this dumb blonde who keept yellng and as where climbing the staires to the third floor when I got bit. However instead of dying I black out for 5 hours and wake up as a super zombie that can talk, run and thinks like a human but has supers powers like fast healing and horde mastery. Has anyone else had a dream like this?

have you ever had a dream (zombie or not) where you were running and it felt like you were trudging in mud, and you werent going anywhere? i know i have, and i got really annoyed when everyone was always able to catch up to me. so i did some digging through internet and books to find out how to run faster in my dreams, and i found out that its caused by actuall muscle movement. you are in control of your legs, and you try to move them, and they wont move, and that shows up in your dream. its like a video game character, when theyre dead, you cant move their legs, and then you get killed (or whatever happens to you after your dead).

long time ago I had the most vivid dream i've had in my life, i was going down a tunnel like bridge thing across water away from a burning city and I heard someone say something about the area is unbreachable or something then right behind us an airplane crashes through the tunnel roof and hundresd of zombies spill out, and thats when i woke up, it was freaky as hell

In some of my dreams, I view myself in the third person. By about halfway through, I realise that this person who I know to be me is actually more unnerving than the zombies. I've always got a really tight control over my dreams.
So: It starts differently each time, but I'm generally in school, after hours for a club of some sort. I look around, and there's a couple of other friends, when (in the sudden way that dreams happen) we're somehow standing outside, looking at the car park, and there're cars on fire and stuff. Anyway, typical zombie stuff. But by halfway through, I'm laughing and swearing and brandishing a chainsaw like it's a toy, and I'm covered in putrid blood, and then I see myself from 'outside', and that's what's really freaky for me.

everynight i have either an awesome gory action packed zombie outbreak dream where im searching for shelter and other survivors armed with absurd
and useless weapons and gear, ( water wings and flippers, giant cow bone) or there just happens to be zombies in and out of the otherwise normal events that are going on. the best/ most vivid dream i can recall though, would have to as follows. i was running into a house, at first in my dream i didnt know what i was running from, and when i heard the groans it clicked. oh shit. zombie apocolypse. everything was viewed with that kind of grainy look old pictures have, and everything took a grey or orange hue, lots of soot and fire, as i shimmyed up the broken staircase i was greeted by my at the time girlfriend and her family, looking back it was her house. there were dozens of zombies in her backyard, one of which was gorging itself on one of her two dogs, the other luckily had been brought up in a basket...... anyway, it got a little sidetracked as dreams usually do..... :] .......... and i found myself on the huntington beach pier. (less than a block from previous location) and we had sealed off the edge of it and as i looked towards the burning city, flaming and shambling bodies everywhere you looked, people were screaming sirens blaring, gunshots and explosions filled the air. i was smiling ear to ear. FUCK! i can only wait for the day!!! ivce had other good ones but they erent all nighters. there was a good one about shark people zombies though. black eyes and hunched bodies, they sniffed out your open wounds and weaved in on you. that was a good one. ended up plowing through them in my sub. |

I've had a lot of zombie dreams in the past year or so for some reason. Here are the two that stick out in my mind most.
The first dream was that I was at a picnic with my friends and there was an outbreak. So me and my friends started running, and somehow I had a pistol in my hand, but I couldn't shoot because I was trying to keep up with my friends. Well, I heard one of my friends scream and I looked back and he was gone, but there were about five rage zombies behind me. I screamed "OH HELL NO!" and sprinted ahead of everyone else, but finally got cornered in the mall after all my friends were dead. I stood there shooting into the crowd of zombies and as soon as one grabbed me, I woke up. The second dream I had was pretty fun actually. I was on a roof with an automatic shotgun, shooting zombies as they climbed up. I can remember Francis and Bill from Left 4 Dead were there too. Then a tank (if you haven't played Left 4 Dead think incredible hulk zombie) climbed up and it ran at us, but we killed it right as it was about to knock me off the roof. Then I jumped on a helicopter with Bill and Francis and escaped just as more zombies were coming. I woke up as the helicopter was flying away from the building. |

Well first I had this thing, I went to our schools basktball game last night and we won(not part of the dream, just saying how this dream was thought upon) Then the pandimec starts...Only certain people could come in the Gym(its like a refuge shelter you can say) and there were zombies oustide every where, I tried to have my parents come get me, BUT I COULDNT! I STARTED TO PANIC! thats the end of that one, now this one is kida about Day Of The Dead it just started showing the beggining of it. then they showed zombie Caged of by a fenece. Then I started Sweating bad and woke up. I then wrote this right away.
