Zombie Teams- Organized Chaos

Teamwork divides the task and doubles the success.-Unknown
The time may be upon us any day now. From some sort of virus, the ones we once loved become hunters, feeling no emotion or pain. The psychological damage alone is enough to cause a mental breakdown into nothingness, not good to add when the undead are already among us. But there is hope. Studies show that in a team, your survival rate doubles, if not triples when part of a 3-10 person team. That is what this page is for. It is for the people who know that the smart thing is to buddy up, and not "go it alone" when zombies are loose. Please feel free to express your teamwork here with someone on this wiki, or another person you know far too well enough to trust during an outbreak. Also feel free to propose new teams here with friends or strangers, and recommend team tactics for combating the ranks of the undead. United, a team beats with one, living heart.

ZS&D Command
By steveo_justice
I'm just throwing ideas out, but this topic has gotten a lot of feedback and with enough people involved in it I believe this is feasible. Go ahead and add to it.

There are enough teams here that if the moderators were to confer and set up a sort of "central command" (with a less corny name, of course) to coordinate the squads, then we could at least have a way of supporting other survivors logisticaly by different teams sending each other supplies in a pickup truck, or something along those lines. I'm sure at least one person on each of these teams could commit to keeping a CB or shortwave radio working, which could be used to communicate with a leadership figure -- in this case, the moderators, perhaps. They probably all have a fortress set up for Z day anyway... or, in 13 Casualty's case, a giant dump truck with tank turrets and a starbucks on it :). A sort of "radio free world," like in WWZ.

In any event, this could provide a way of surviving teams relaying information and pleas for help to each other, provided we could gain enough participation. Hell, we could even have sanctuaries in major metropolitain areas set up by them, which coud be used as a medical base and to stockpile supplies -- maintained on shifts at all times, of course.

Anyway stick your ideas in a spot just below this or something, it just this could really be to our mutual benifit as non-sheeple if this could be set up.

Team #1-Alpha Wolf Squadron
by GuruHotdog
This team involves me being united with my friend, Ryan. We already have the plan: Stockpile as many weapons possible at his house, take down the staircase, etc. But our tactics are far more rich in detail. Because Ryan is overweight (he's not afraid to admit it) he distracts zombies, shooting at them with a gun, drawing attention, while I come in with a katana (or machete) and cut off their undead heads! It's been effective so far in mock attacks, so we are set to kick some zombie butt!
Team#2: Z-Unit
By: AgEnT_GrEEn
Basically, it's a group of local [Michigan] dudes and dudettes that have a keen interest in the skinnies AND paramilitary training, evasion tactics, wilderness survival, basic waterborne transportation and other useful skills; each member is an invaluable part of our team, but each can pick up for the slack of a fallen Comrade when necessary. PM me if you want to know a comprehensive list of my **mad skillz**

Team#3
Me and my ciaran all ready have a plan set up. I have military training and ciaran is pretty smart. I get on my bike and ride to my grandpas house armed only with my dads glock 17 get into his house witch is a few blocks away get his AK and 35 caliber rife and a shit load of ammo. Then ciaran gets all the supplies in two backpacks. the first back pack has food and water the other has tools/gear. we get into his kayaks (since he has 3 kayaks a third person could come) if there was a zombie attack then i would assume my friend Vinny would come with us and bring more gear food and water. and because he is a hunter i would tell him to get his shotgun and a 22LR. a 22RL is effective for killing zombies because in a head shot the bullet will enter the head but not exit and the brain will be scrambled. there is a old... i don't know what to call it but its on a island not to far away and its surrounded by tall barbed wire fences and as two little buildings one of witch is underground and this place is old and abandon. it is a island and the current around it is very strong. when ever we ran out of supplies we could send 1 maybe 2 of us back to the main land(witch is about idk maybe a 12 Min kayak ride and get more food water more supplies. Also we could fish and hunt for food. but for water i would at first bring a few gallons. then as soon as we get there we go back to the back of my friends back yard witch is on the water by the island and all three of us grab as much water as we can. There is a lot of good survival food out there. i would say bring as much spam(if you dont know what that is its canned meat that last for a long time) and jars of peanut butter. also other canned food. also its always good to bring a bottle one of those red gasoline containers just in case you find a car or need to start a fire you if you want to make a a weapon. By the way my names mike

Team #4 - The Irish Defence Regiment (I.D.R.)
The I.D.R. is the ZSDW's only squad currently operating in Ireland. We cover both the the Republic and the North. When Zombies strike the squad will assault various small villages and ports to secure supply routes to and from America and mainland Europe. Larger cities will be abandoned until we get superior firepower. We are currently operating on a squad of roughly 20 people. Hopefully more will join our cause as we liberate villages form infected hordes.

Team #5 - The Philippine Delta Defense Operatives (P.D.D.O)
By: Rhenn
The P.D.D.O is currently the only ZSDW operations team in the Philippines handling information sharing about zombie survival, and being the only ZSDW contact in the Philippines. We give the ZSDW immediate information if we have zombie contact, and we patrol the capital of the Philippines, Manila, being the nearest sign of zombie outbreaks in the country, and the city nearest to the president, which can provide the P.D.D.O resources which can defend the country against zeds while the other teams come for support. We are comprised of a minimum of six persons, each having their individual responsibilities. I, Rhenn, the leader. handles the job being the contact of the ZSDW, and the tactics operative. "Veers", my friend, handles locating people, and locating places being the one having the nearest resource of maps. "Brains", my other friend, is the one who plans which will do which, and the groupings of the whole squad. "Cat", my other friend, handles the information spreading and guidelines. "Shirls", my other friend, handles the food resources, and lastly, "Rice", handles the groupings of the civilians. Contact me in my e-mail for details: rhenn_anthony@yahoo.com.ph

Team #6
- Destroy An Rebuild Team (D.A.R.T.)
This group would consist of any one who wants before after or during a zombie Apocalypse.
We would probably begin our actions after we lost government presence.
The idea is simple the team would firstly find a large building with lots of land around it in a remote location (Maybe a manor).
Then we would send small groups out small groups to collect supplies.
We would broadcast on the radio and is possible the Internet.
Whilst all this is happening we would be using lure and kill tactics to get rid of zombies(Destroy)
And getting electricity online, getting hot water, disposing of bodies and other thinks to start rebuilding the uk.(Rebuild)

Team #7 - White Shields
By: KaikelX
The White Shields, as some of you may know, are a fictional group of soldiers who are conscripts, and not as well trained as normal soldiers. That said, I volunteer to form a real life version of the White Shields if/when the zombies arrive. The White Shields would consist of any amount of volunteers that do not have firearm training. Led by trained survivors (at a ratio of 1 to between 10-20) they would spend most of their time training to improve their skills. In combat, the White Shields are used basically as 'filler' soldiers. Message me for more info.

Team #8 - NT Guard (North Texas)
BY: KingScilla
This team consists of my friends but is not limited. we can and will expand to everyone within a 100 mile radius in all directions except south. we will combine with any forces from Dallas down. Upon the Zed invasion my friend and I (both in good shape and strength) are to gather our supplies. I have 3 rifles .243, and two 30-06's. as well as 2 shotguns 18 gauge single barrel, and 12 gauge over-under. along with that are 50 shells per weapon (realistically). 2 handguns are also in attendance, one is my fathers' govt issue with 13cap standard, 9mm. the other is a small Italian gun, 9mm, holds 10. we are to gather weapons as well as nails, and hammers, crowbars, and shovels. we will take my jeep gr. cherokee v6 with part time all-wheel drive. we will lead the convoy of about 7-8 already confirmed family and friends provided they haven't changed. we are heading to galveston where we plan on controlling the large cruise liner docks. with the help of anyone along the way we will anchor all working and good conditioned boats off panama, low enough to avoid most hurricanes. we will have a floating town. upon securing the port, we will assemble a team to travel to the nearest stationed GE desalination ship. with unlimited fresh water all things provided we will be set to live aboard our floating town, living off the sea. frequent trips will be made back to Galveston where few survivors will be left to defend the the secured dock. we will also make trips (avoiding hurricane season) around the gulf states and up the east coast to try and make contact with any other established strongholds. west coast is also a possibility through panama canal provided it still is unbarred. otherwise unlikely chance of rounding Argentina. lengthy but well thought out.
our journey from Dallas will allow others to join up for about 3 months maximum after the initial invasion. so if you have any way of joining our ranks in order to evacuate the maximum number of people you are welcome.

JugglaJ: is there anyone in NW Pennsylvania or south east new york if so i propose to make a team in our general area

Team #9- Z-L(z-day livonia)

a group me and my friends have. When the days comes we will all meet up at my house. Every one will bring bring something use full. We will board up my attic so it is safe to stay. my parents have lots of guns so someone can watch the outside with one of my dads rifles. After numbers thin down we will go house to house to find survivors, after that were going to the gun warehouse(or what we think to be but probably not) we will listen in on every station for any military safe spots. If anyone want to join and is in my direct location message me

Team #10 - T.R.E.E.S. - Tactical. Response. Emergency. Evacuation. Squad. - Central Florida.
We're in Lake County Florida. This is a group of about 17 people including me. 12 of us have firearms and the rest have makeshift weapons. We have all played "paintball" and are in NJROTC so we know how to work together. And most of us have "paintball" armor which makes cool uniform and is good protection.

Team #11 - Anti-zombie team Perkeleen Soturit (AZTPS)
Well... probably the largest anti-zombie team here. We consist of four air-soft clans, we play regularly at kannelmäki forest trench system, we also "one man standing" games, where 1 guy is against over 200 "zeds" and only head shots kill. Trust me, its a lot of fun. At in case of a outbreak, everyone has agreed to go to a certain location with all the supplies and weapons they will find. At this moment its an island not far from where we live. Well and then we are going to kick some major zombie butt. -Jannew

Team #12 - Wisconsin Anti Zombie Militia
A small group of us here in west central Wisconsin have been planning our strategies for defense and survival. Our group has a gun to member ratio higher than most, a vast array of street and off-road vehicles, boats, and motorcycles. When it happens, we will be ready.

Team #13 - North Pacific raiding party
By Steveo Justice
We have loads of mountaineering and hiking experience in the Washington cascade mountains, including detailed knowlege of lakes and ORV trails. We, a party of anywhere form 10 to 50 people, perhaps more, would set up a base camp in this area from which to work, consisting first of temporary structures, and then of permanent housing -- extensive logging and carpentry experience is also present here. Admittedly, there oads of survivors present there initially, but most will absolutely not be able to reach the locations we are able to, and therefore, most zombie's won't either -- there wont be any food. From this defensivle location, we would be able to systematically conduct raids across the Seattle metropolitain area, however dangerous it may be, as well as on the surrounding farmland, rivers, sporting towns, and other such places. Sustainability is a completely attainable goal here. We would be more than happy to have a few squads from the surrounding area to help out -- strength in numbers. This could be the first part of the "central command" up at the top.

I'd go into more detail but I don't want to hog space. Anyway it's all worked out.

Team #14 - THE ZES: ZOMBIE EXTERMANATER SQUAD

Me and my best friend max's team are currently in possesion of numerous firearms and even though I am 14, i have almost completed my helicopter piloting lessons at leeds airport and max deer hunts with his dad every sunday and saturday.

I have a squad of 7 adults including a qualified senior practitioner who happens to be an ex rugby player and will take the role of leader (my dad) . We also have 10 teenagers from the ages 14-18.

When news is heard of the outbreak we plan to fly our supply's too an oil rig and i shall post the co-ordinates online. Any one who wishes to join will have to spend a 4 days quarntine on top of the voyage there although you will be fed and treated with hospitality.

We prepose that we shall become central command as we may be the safest team and have various expertise (2 builders, a plumber , a senior practitioner and an ex soldier who has served in afghanistan for 4 years and 2 deer hunters.)

The oil rig can also be used to fuel other groups and to gain purrified water and fishing for fish for food.

Message me for more info my profile is toby404 and email is max5378@hotmail.co.uk we are the best zombie defense team you will get
Team #15-Death's Bane
No official organized plan yet, only very basic things that stake a lot on chance. Cool name though, eh?

Team #15 - Green Light Anti-Zombie Squad
This group is open to any and all members, and spans various states and boasting 100+ members throughout them. Its home state is NY, where the "leader" and creator of the group lives, (to talk to him, message GenGrenade). The command structure for it is the "General" commands everyone, and each state has a Captain, a Lieutenant, and A sergeant as the command chain. Members are divided by class according to their skill sets, and that is shown by colored arm bands and bandanas. for information on how to join message either GenGrenade or NJLtPirate. website: www.freewebs.com/njglazs (current homepage while a new main page is under construction), email: njglazs@hotmail.com
GenGrenade leader of GLAZS
NJLtPirate - second in command for NJ
PaCptSynthetik - commander for PA

Team #16 - T.E.C. Guard (Technical Engineering and Combat)
We are a small group operating within central Indiana specalising in the retrieval and archiving of data our main goal upon Z-Day is to preserve human technical knowlege (anything from cancer research to steam engines) and store it onto a mobile archive therefore we mantain a standard that will allow us to better aid other groups other than this the idea is to clear and reinforce a handfull of old grain silos and run operations from there (after safely transfering at least one copy archive into each one) the secondary goal is to link the other groups together and begin a systematic clensing, restoring a functioning network between other team's strongholds, re-arming and supplying other groups, and transport is crucial to our goal making us more of a support combat role many of us are mechanics, engineers, ex-military and medical techs but we do understand that our first goal is to kill Z'es
so far the T.E.C. Guard are 3 teams of 6 each led by a Chief Engineer and each team has a medic, mechanic/driver, and a handfull of combat troops the idea immedately after outbreak is to occupy the local water monitor station (off of Broadway in Anderson the one that is by the frishes big boy near the river walk) and secure it untill the group is ready to travel north into the cold consistantly on the lookout for other silos or towers to modify and occupy the outposts will be marked clearly with a Cog wraped in barbed wire welded to the door allong with instructions on how to open them

Team #17 - N.Z.S.T (Nashville Zombie Survival Team)
Our team is based in the South East Focusing on the Tennessee area. Our plan is simple: At the hint of a Zombie Invasion we subtley start collecting weapons members and vehicles. We use the chaos of the mass hystaria spread by the media to quietly stockpile food and medical supplies as well. We then re-enforce a few homes as well as buses to be combat ready. Our main members are located a few miles from a National Guard outpost for heavy artillary as well. When the intial hystaria as given way to an all out zombie invasion we move quickly loading one bus with food surplus ammo and medical supplies. The other bus will be outfited with our best marksmen, driver and will carry civillians. We head for Tennessees Capitol building which is outfited with 6 foot concrete walls and completely impenatrable except for a tunnel used for visitors easily guarded by 1 to 2 men. It is also located on a hill in the center of the city on which you can see anyone coming within a half a mile. We proceed to collect survivors and other smaller teams until we have gathered a small army of able bodied men and women to go on a warpath and destroy as many undead as possible. This process is repeated until Nashville is clear. We then proceed to do so with other cities untill we have cleared the entire Southeast. We then cut our losses and create a border line from the rest of the country but put forth radio and televsion broadcasts throught the country to attract surviving teams and (with any luck) one or two who are immune to the virus (assuming it is a virus).

Team #18 - Conner Schofill
I have a few buddies that I have discussed the possibilities of a virus that could produce a zombie or something similar, that could have global effects on civilization. I have been kind of elected leader. I have yet to train them at all with firearms, but all of them are at least beginners. I am the brains, and so far, the brawn too, but the others are into weightlifting as I am, so that may soon change. I know all the weapon stuff-rifles, shotguns, handguns, any and all firearms are my specialty. I told them that we need to have a standard caliber for each type of weapon. Rifles will be .308; Carbines/assault rifles will be .223 Rem (5.56 NATO); If we do use SMGs, which none of us care for, 9mm will be used because MP5s will be the first found. If we do find a UMP, .45ACP will be our caliber; sidearms will be .45ACP unless conflicting with SMG caliber (if we resort to them-hopefully we won't need to); shotguns will be 12 guages; if we go Cival War, .45 sabots will fly-about 3 shots a minute per person....maybe slower....
We all understand the difference between tactical and tacti-cool, and our fashion statement is as follws:Black 8" boots, jeans, long sleeved shirt/jacket, a crucifix(we are believers), a good wide-brimmed hat, sports watch, polarized shades.
We all trust each other, and that is the golden essence to any stressful situation-trust in your team as well as yourself.

Team #19 - Team Deadwash
By DizzDeathWing
A team based in michigan consisting of about 5 members. Me being the weapon specialist, with a rag tag group of survivalists. We are all using a rifle that chambers the same round so that we can exchange ammunition. One member has begun stocking his basement with weapons and survival gear since before y2k scare. We have decided not to worry about any techheads or computer geeks due to the lack of tech that is sure to come. We also have decided on a our ammo caches. 7.62x39 as the main rifle round, 12 gauges, .45 acp, and .308 winchester for sniping. We have chose these rounds because they are decently inexpensive(in comparison to .223) and the firearms which can us them can be found about anywhere for little price.

Team #20 Hell's Gate Guards

A team consisting of 5-25 people who inevitably form a strong micro-city. We are based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Odds are I'm the weapons master and arm my team with the best anti-zombie gear Whilst we guard the walls of the city. We are armed with M1 Carbines and M1 Garands. If we found other guns, those would be last resort after our rifles ran out of ammunition. We also will have well constructed pipe bombs and pneumatic launchers for large concentrations of zombies at a distance. We will also have Thermite (incindiary) Grenades and Napalm to clear out the trenches. But there is one thing that will be invented for a smaller squad of Gate guards...Exo suits (home made[don't make fun of something that could be very usefull]).

Team #21 C.P.D.F. (Central Pennsylvanian Defence Force)

A team based in York County, Pennsylvania. This team consists (right now) of around 10 people. Our plan is to gather weapons and supplies (and chicks...), and head to Perry County (very rural area). We plan to capture a small town thats sits on a crossroads and use that as a base of operations, and as a place of trade and sanctuary. We then capture other small towns to make a network of safe zones. We are armed with .308 sniper rifle, m1 garand, ar-15 with scope, .22 rifle, M1911, Glock, two 12 gauges, and great knowledge of firearms, explosives, and flame weapons (napalm, flamethrowers, etc.).

Thread started: Friday, 10:07 PM EST  Watch
Basically, we're a group that will be based outside a rural town in SE Minnesota(aprox. 3500 people currently) Our actual group is estimated at 15 people. Anyone who would like to come join our survivalist community is welcome. We have plenty of guns, ammo, food, and other supplies already in our hands(Minnesotan rednecks. all that needs to be said.), most of us who know how to use said implements of destruction (I just got done shooting 2" groups at 250 yards with the Ruger .30-06 earlier today).
