You can survive the Zombie Apocalypse easily... and when it's done, the world will be set back a few centuries at least. People will go insane because there are no batteries to replace the ones that have died after 1,000 recharge cycles or whatever. No electronic entertainment, no modern luxuries, no standard items of well-being that we take for granted (Toilet Paper etc)!

What we need more than anything, to ensure a quick re-build in the aftermath of Z-Day, is INFORMATION!

We need books about anything and everything. we need to write down our opinions and the opinions and experiences of our elders (old people are a fountain of knowlege)....but this still won;t be enough. We need info that is updated regularly. we need information on EVERYTHING!

So we need the internet. it won't be there though. We need to save the information on the internet and use it within the first 25-50 years to rebuild the internet and restart the computer manufacturing process. Then we can keep all this stored data/info alive while we create everything we once knew!

I suggest that you factor in the biggest library you can imagine, then the biggest electricity producing infastructure you can imagine (wind turbines, solar panels, hydro plants, diesel generators) and on top of that, a bunch of decent computers with around 50Tb of storage space at least. Then back up as many websites of relevance as you can. (this site, and any other survival site out there, any farming site, government sites, education sites, schematics on making toiletries. as many e-books as possible etc etc etc.)

I am currently saving this whole site and a couple of farming sites and building sites (aswell as some cool sites that are of no use, but are entertaining to me) to my external HDD. one site(a joke website), containing mainly text is 324Mb. this site is not finished downloading and is already 507.93Mb. WE NEED MASS STORAGE!
