1. Wooden Spear
One of the simpler weapons to make, as anybody who knows how to whittle can. The way to make this spear is simply to whittle one end of a piece of wood( can be done with a broom handle, but is sturdier if you use strong wood, like willow) to a razor sharp point. can be used to stab, and can kill zombies if sharp enough, and if the user is strong enough. also useful for hunting and fishing, but you will need practice or training to do either effectively. if made in large numbers, can be put in the ground and pointed outwards as a makeshift barricade( I do believe English archers used this tactic on French horsemen)
2. Stone Basket
Again, rather simple. Anyone with basic carpentry skills should be able to make this. This was used in medieval times to hold stones on top of a wall,
So that they could be dropped on the enemy's head, thus making people unskilled in ranged combat still useful.
A person would essentially build a four legged table with fencing around the sides.
Put some rocks inside that are large enough to break a skull, and it is as easy as dropping as a rock to use.
3.Pipe Bombs
Come z day there may an abundant source of black powder.This being said what's stopping a person from make these bomb's.If done correctly the should be able to take down walls to get into a building.
Or even take out a large number of zed's!
