as i said, i work in a surplus store. i don't think the z-owner will mind stealing some CBs and HAMs, nor satellite phones

How are you planning to get food and water?

there are plenty of home owned wells.

What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?

M1 garand, .30 cal ammo is pretty easy to come by, 8 shots per clip medium/long range, good penetration

S.&W. .357 magnum, 6 shots per clip. medium range targets, good penetration

1911 colt .45, 12 shots per clip. close range limited penetration

11in. sheathed blade, stainless steel, bolo. hand to hand

Got a survival philosophy?

stay in the open, but not in plane sight. don't go into buildings,its always a death trap, unless worst case scenario, then prepare for the worst.

if i get bit, and I'm w/ a group, I'm blow my brains out after they leave me. it will also provide time for the others to get away while they feed.

None bleeding allot from what you can tell isn't a stab or cut.
