Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?

Realistically the moment you have real evidence that zombies (the classic, relative slow moving, lacking of complex motor skills) have it fact become a reality, either in your country or another, you should start packing and gathering resources. Though you typingmay want to wait until social order ( the national laws) begins the break down before you begin to actually raid something, the last thing you here...)want is for the zombies to take over while your trapped in a police station cell.


Will you be staying in your home or headed somewhere else?

Head out to the bush after gathing resources. 50 km awayis a rock plateau with only one way up, a Metal peg ladder (ever been to a rock climbing wall its like that, except its 5 metres high and unless you leave one there, without a rope) it is (despite my description) is about mildly difficult for a able-bodied human to get up the ladder (supplies can be hoisted up with rope), though zombies are a completely iffent story, without complex motor skills the zombies couldn't even make it up the first rung (they' d fall and damage themselves).

If you're heading out, how do you plan to get there?
I plan to stay at home gather resources, then go bush and setup a self suficeint base on a high rock and dirt plateau around 50k away (take seeds and supplies with us, also the area the plateau is located in has rainfall often.

How will you communicate with the outside world, or do you plan to go the hermit route?
i have a homemade solar power charger for my shortwave radio ( its a good radio, $172 radio) and so will be using it to contact others. although i do plan to take friends and family with me when i go there.

How are you planning to get food and water?

Take seeds, bring platic bags to convert into rain water catchers.

What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?

as much a i would like a 50 calibre heavy machine gun,or even a pistol gun laws in australia are very tight, i dont know what the ammo cap is but i believe it is less than 500 shots(so you are probably not going to be killing armys that way. So i would probably end up with a gardening scythe or a stick with point (spear) or even a bat. As i am very good with all.
