uses for duct tape |

Version 15 - view current page

Duct tape is a unanimous nessecity, for many reasons. It can bind anything to anything provided that both surfaces are dry. Weapons to knives,(bayonets, anyone?)zeds to burning crosses,(mmmmm, crispy) and if you take a bowl and light a small fire in it, and throw some duct tape in there,
one can put anyone to sleep(OHHH,the possibilities).

AfterShock- Duct tape is also useful for closing your frisky zombie buddies mouth as you stick a red-hot firepoker into his thigh, providing hours of flesh-searing entertainment without much worry. Duct tape his hands to his back or a wall; and unless he's got super-human strength, which he probably does, duct tape rebar to his arms to keep him from bending them. Just be sure not to take that rebar to the head. Being unconcious next to an angry undead is probably not an ideal situation.

Maricely -- Hey AfterShock, you know that asshole that dies within the first 20 minutes of horror movies? that's you. It's one thing that you would waste your time torturing a zombie instead of just killing it, but the fact that you would rely on duct tape alone to restrain it makes it very obvious that your survival skills aren't quite what they should be. To continue with the conversation, I agree duct tape would probably come in handy at one point or another.

Resident-Adam--"Duct Tape.. I use it for taping...things." (Quote from "American Psycho")

Charlanka- When I saw this, my mind flashed on wrapping my arms with it if I couldn't find any metal to do so. Sorta as a temporary solution to not getting infected through an arm wound. And I must agree with Maricely, AfterShock, what is the point of torturing a Zombie when your trying to stay alive?

KaikelX- Duct tape=right up there with the swiss knife.

Renegade13- Duct tape is not suposed to be used for torturing the undead. Eventually the tape will wear out and now your dead. Like Resident-Adam said use it for taping things other then the undead.

Thrawn5 - as Renegade said, torturing zombies is no use, they dont feel pain. It is altogether areally bad idea, the chances of the zac breaking free are too high to risk it even if there were a use for straping a zed to a wall (beyond moral boosting, even then...).
Here is a very time (and duct tape) consuming idea for defense of an area,
make large sheets of duct tape (10 feet wide and however long you want it) with the sticky side up (dont cover the sticky side, that defeats the purpose here), lay these strips of tape on the ground. When zombies coma for a little snack they will (theoretically) get caught in the tape and just wind themselves up in it, giving you plenty of time to shoot, beat them, or run from them.

Garnica- ahh flashlight plus gun thanks to duct tape. such a beautiful combo.
